FANTASIA CONTEST #34
Welcome to the official thread for the 34th edition of Fantasia Contest.
CONFIRMATIONS
The confirmations will officially open on
Monday, 15th January 2024 at 18:00 CET.
On Day 1 (15th January 2024) everyone who participated in the previous edition can confirm exclusively. In addition, those who were chosen to be replacers in the Grand Final can confirm as well. This means  Ruria will be allowed confirm on Day 1. Countries that failed to vote in the semi-finals or in the Grand Final (in time) can only confirm from Day 2, they being  Saint Vittoria,  Tsytria and  United States of Eldance
From Day 2 (16th January 2024) everyone else with a country on the map can confirm until the limit of 54 countries is reached, +  Evergreen and  Tremenoria ban's expire this edition. All countries that confirm afterwards are placed on the standby list in the corresponding order.

Entry presentation deadline: Monday, 12th February 2024 (22 CET)
APPROVAL
All entries, regardless of whether they are selected internally or through a national selection, must be sent via the official approval form.

The form will be activated on Tuesday, 16th February 2024, 18:00 CET.
You are only allowed to send a maximum of 2 approval forms. If you send a third approval form (unless asked by the council to do so), we will not reply to it, and your new songs will not be considered. Your national selection has to be finalized before being submitted. If after 1 week you do not receive any movement or update on your songs, you can of course contact the approvals team to remind them. The number of songs that can be sent for approval as part of a national selection is capped at 10. You can track the approval status of your entries (Approved - Partly Approved - Declined) on the Approval Status Sheet.

Namimori confirms its participation! Maeiso Metropolitan, 15 January 2024 After achieving their best results since the 29th edition, the representative broadcaster  Namimorish Television (nmtvo) has officially confirmed their intention to participate in the upcoming contest, which should be held in  Trivania.

On January 15, the head of delegation Akira Kiyose (清瀬明良) stated during the press conference that both Fantasia Contest and Singing Man have become a part of Namimorish people's life. The popularity of both musical programs has been growing for years, to the point that their fames are completely unmatched by other local and international shows broadcasted within the country. Therefore, Mr. Akira added that there is no point for the South Serican country to leave the contest in any time soon.
The exclusive producers Choi Seunguhn (최승언) and Jin Jaeyu (진재유) additionally revealed that Namimori will select its next entry via the South Serica's most prominent music show Singing Man as usual. Director Seunguhn revealed that many rising Namimorish artists from both inside Namimori and around the globe, expressed their interests to compete in the festival and the team was thankful for it. This is all thanks to Thérèse's success in  Kingdovania.
Director Jaeyu also informed the press regarding the rising trends of virtual artists, idols and musical projects, and nmtv's acknowledgement and recognision of their existences. He stated that virtual artists are as equally welcomed to enter their submission for Singing Man as "normal" ones. - "Virtual artists are not a new thing for Singing Man or Namimori in general. We already had Vivid Bad Squad with collaboration with the famous vocaloid icons Kagamine Rin & Len straight from Ninelie and of course, PLAVE whose leader eventually hosted the previous event as well. So, it should be alright for them to have their spotlight and right to make the country proud as well. After all, our goal in Fantasia Contest is not only to compete but also to showcase our music."
Nevertheless, the lineup is mostly already finalized according to both directors, and the show is expected to be held around the coast of Kaminari island starting from the upcoming weeks. Stay tune for more information and of course, news about the participating entries!

Confirmation announcement Sovarasma confirms participation in Fantasia Contest #34 Despite another non-qualification in the previous edition, Longorama of Sovarasma (LRS) has confirmed that Sovarasma will partake in the forthcoming Fantasia Contest in Trivania.
A new national selection, "Celerargos", has been confirmed. Details will be put on the wiki in due course.
