I would firstly like to apologize for letting this die. With starting my teaching job in August I simply just forgot about it. But now that I have a new contest myself and am motivated, let's try this again, shall we?
Nordisk Melodi Grand Prix #18
Confirmations
The 18th edition of the Nordisk Melodi Grand Prix will take place in
Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland. This will be the second time that Iceland hosts the contest as they did so last edition too and got their first win ever.
The competition will take place in Some Building in Vestmannaeyjar as the town is quite small.
The host of the event will be Sigga Kling.
All Nordic and Baltic nations, as well as Scotland are invited to participate in the event!
The contest is scheduled to take place on February 5th, 2024. Entries must be submitted by Friday, 2nd February 2024!
Since the last time this contest took place, the
Faroe Islands do not participate in North Vision Song Contest anymore and thus do not have a HoD. They will be eligible to participate here though. If you are interested in competing with the Faroe Islands, please message me over Discord or PM by Sunday, 28th January!
As
Greenland submitted an entry the last time this was about to take place, the current HoD, Chante™, will retain their position. In future editions it will be drawn as usual.
When you submit your entry, please remember, that the majority of the song has to be in another language than English! Please also include a timeslot as part of your post. If you wish to keep your entry from the previous thread then please post it again. You may change entries if you wish.
