FANTASIA CONTEST #35
Welcome to the official thread for the 35th edition of Fantasia Contest.
CONFIRMATIONS
The confirmations will officially open on
Monday, 20th May 2024 at 18:00 CET.
On Day 1 (20th May 2024) everyone who participated in the previous edition can confirm exclusively. In addition, those who were chosen to be replacers in the Grand Final can confirm as well. Countries that failed to vote in the semi-finals or in the Grand Final (in time) can only confirm from Day 2, they being  Ruria,  Niolskiaj,  The White Havens,  Ulikana,  Yeukiwan,  Demacia,  Glacea and  Ximbala.
From Day 2 (21st May 2024) everyone else with a country on the map can confirm until the limit of 54 countries is reached. All countries that confirm afterwards are placed on the standby list in the corresponding order.

DEADLINES
Entry submission deadline: Friday, 31st May 2024 (22 CET)
Entry presentation deadline: Sunday, 2nd June 2024 (22 CET)
APPROVAL
All entries, regardless of whether they are selected internally or through a national selection, must be sent via the official approval form.

The form will be activated on Tuesday, 21st February 2024, 18:00 CET.
You are only allowed to send a maximum of 2 approval forms. If you send a third approval form (unless asked by the council to do so), we will not reply to it, and your new songs will not be considered. Your national selection has to be finalized before being submitted. If after 1 week you do not receive any movement or update on your songs, you can of course contact the approvals team to remind them. The number of songs that can be sent for approval as part of a national selection is capped at 6. You can track the approval status of your entries (Approved - Partly Approved - Declined) on the Approval Status Sheet.

Namimori confirms its participation! Maeiso Metropolitan, 20 May 2024 Despite the bare non-qualification of Enno Cheng in Trivania, the representative broadcaster  Namimorish Television (nmtvo) has officially confirmed their intention to participate in the upcoming contest, which should be held in  Torlova.

On January 15, the head of delegation Akira Kiyose (清瀬明良) stated during the press conference that both Fantasia Contest and Singing Man have become a part of Namimorish people's life. The popularity of both musical programs has been growing for years, to the point that their fames are completely unmatched by other local and international shows broadcasted within the country. Therefore, Mr. Akira added that there is no point for the South Serican country to leave the contest in any time soon.

The exclusive producers Kim Suho (김수호) and Wataru Matoba (的場 航海) additionally revealed that Namimori and  Qasentria agree to select their next entries via the South Serica's most prominent music show Singing Man Namisentria, for the seventh time. Director Matoba revealed that despite the non-qualification, Enno Cheng has successfully inspired Namimorish artists from every ethinicity to compete in the festival.
Director Suho also informed the press that the lineup is mostly already finalized according to directors of both sides, and the show is expected to be held at the border between the two countries in the upcoming weeks. Qasentria confirms its participation! Following yet another qualification and breaking the tie shared with  Onduria for the most qualifications to a final of the Fantasia Contest without achieving an automatic qualification with ten, as well as seven straight qualifications (one of, if not the longest active qualification streak in the contest), the representative broadcaster Qasentrian Broadcast Association (QBA) has officially confirmed their intention to participate in the upcoming contest, which should be held in Torlova, which will hilariously be our first time competing in the nation.

Following the success of ChihSiou, the head of delegation Homma Miho (本間美火) stated that the legendary joint national final, Singing Man Namisentria, would return. Discussions are currently being held in regards to the new rule changes regarding song limits in the national final, but that's all we are willing/allowed to share.
In the meantime, the submissions portal has been opened on the QBA website. Submissions from prior windows will be considered, but Homma said that they are going to try and keep things as fresh as possible.

An absolute miracle happened last edition and after 2 years of constant failures we finally managed to auto qualify again for the 2nd time ever. Such opportunity directly points to our country staying in the competition for its 35th edition.
Due to the fact we are in the final right away we decided it is time we once again make a national final after years. We already have a lot of songs prepared however thanks to the new rule change regarding the limit of songs in a selection we will have to make some "cuts".
