Daremyth ● Looking Camp Right In The Eye
Leslie Hall ● Tight Pants / Body Rolls
A blast from the past I would like to say. I have chosen this entry because it perfectly fits this challenge's category. It is very over the top and does not take itself too seriously.

Miz Bulge Area
Kylie Minogue "Your Disco Needs You"
camp = extravagantly flamboyant or theatrical, and this is exactly Kylie and this song in particular are.

MEL A TONIN S9 E9: Looking Camp Right In The Eye Artist: Orange Caramel Song: Catallena
The QUEENS of camp KPOP, Orange Caramel serve this extremely camp bop and MV of "Catallena". This was so camp it marked a turn in what Orange Caramel would produce further, and is one of the most notorious kpop music videos of all time (mainly due to the group members being shown for being on sale/being sushi). Its just so damn camp!

season 9 episode 9
"Starships" - Nicki Minaj In the style of Johann Pachelbel's "Canon in D"
it was the late great american writer susan sontag who said that "the whole point of camp is to dethrone the serious."
susan sontag's essay notes on "camp" is a piece of academic literature that in my opinion revolutionized society. it is a guidebook to the world of camp -- a world where exageration & irony rule all, the playful spirit, the extravagance, and the oh-so-over-the-top of it all. camp is all about seeing beauty in tacky things and embracing the kitsch, and loving something that society has not shown enough love towards. something that is so bad that it becomes so good. camp is the art of being extra, turning the ordinary into extraordinary, and proves that too much is never enough.
nicki minaj in her essence, is over the top. her debut album, pink friday out in stores, and the subsequent sophmore album, pink friday: roman reloaded, are the modern definition of camp. the only people who saw her vision back then and still do were a group of people that susan sontag's essay catered to as well: homosexuals. it was so extravagant and playful, it made no sense, and was like nothing the world had ever seen before. it revolutionized every thing, and you cannot deny this.
pachelbel's canon in d is also quite over the top. canon's always are, because it is the SAME melody, but all the strings start playing it at different times. like how odd? it doesn't make sense, but it is still quite iconic.
mixing pop with classical music should not work logically. it should be bad. but it is so good? that is camp. it's so over the top, it is so exagerated, its so unserious. so camp yasss

S09E09: You'll get it
Eva Máziková was safe last round because of immunity potion but is ready to take the win this episode!!!
The song choice is... God Sent Me Here To Rock You by Naomi Elizabeth!!!
Look, this is just camp. The production and sound of this song is very over the top and flashy, but it also holds the vibe of being an independent/underground production. It does not take itself seriously as a concept, which is highlighted by the Music Video and the lyrics of the song. And it's actually really catchy. Naomi Elizabeth is an artist that is not going to convince you about her depth and is going to do what she wants. I thoroughly enjoy the song and it is personally my view of what camp just is.
I even thought at first it was a cover of a Fiona Apple song for some reason when I first heard it which I don't understand why now, but Naomi just did that. All the parts of the song, production and video might not make sense individually, but it just makes sense altogether. Naomi Elizabeth is a true camp queen.
