the original version is 6 minutes 15 seconds i will not accept or tolarate criticism that the MV is less than 5 minutes thank yewww
it's just such a stunning song i feel it speaks for itself truly.. like if a song is 5+ minutes it needs to be a story, it needs to keep the listener INTERESTED for that time... and i feel this song really embodies that likeeee that's the tea...

For this week I have selected a song from the band Dzivia who has history of making lenghty songs. I have chosen Flower Maiden as it is stunning 9 minutes of beautiful harmonies that set up the right calming mood to just listen along.

"The Worst Is Done"
clocking in at 6 minutes, this is one of the most ELITE Weyes Blood tracks, at least to my ears. sonic-wise
it's very reminiscent of a Beach Boys track which is what I ultimately seek in her music (well acquainted fans would knowthe track Everyday from Titanic Rising mwah).
lyrically, the track is focused on the post-COVID reality, something that we can all resonate with.

An extremely iconic and well known song, "Kids" by MGMT runs at 5:02 long, and is this eligible for this round! This song is just so good, with its synths and electronica going absolutely crazy to create a masterpiece of a song. Its never a boring listen and keeps the listener engaged the entire time, which can be hard to do in the longer songs. |

Eva Máziková was in the bottom last round, but is now ready to prove she still has it!!!
The song choice is... A House In Nebraska by Ethel Cain!!!
You can choose either live performance or the visualizer, but basically either way it's a fucking great song. Listening to it completely removes me from wherever I am and I feel like I am embarking on a new journey, through the masterful production and amazing voice that Hayden (Ethel Cain) showcases wonderfully in this song, while maintaining it's original concept. The whole album is amazing and even though the songs are generally longer than you might be used to, it still feels just right and not too long, which is always the risk with longer songs. This is for me one of the highlights of the album (beside Ptolemaea) and if you haven't heard it yet, I hope you will enjoy it!
