I'm thinking about doing another forum contest along with 20th CMC. It would be one for North American music- USA, Mexico, Canada, Barbados, etc, etc. Or, just the US, Canada, and Mexico.
Except, to prevent it from having only uber-popular artists and only 1-3 genres represented, the first few editions will not be open to submissions. There *will be popular artists I assure you, but a mixture of internationally popular, only US popular, and somewhat unknowns. There will be pop, country, alternative, rock, and other genres represented.
I plan to open submissions eventually- soon- unless a poll I'll take later shows that it's preferred I don't open them. The contest will be song vs. song.
Voting wouldn't be open for a full day like 20th CMC, since this is kind of smaller and such. I really really want to do it.

So, I'll do it! For edition 1, I'll include USA, Canada, Mexico, British Virgin Islands, and Barbados.

Inclusion of many North American countries would be cool but I still voted for Canada-USA-Mexico only since they are the countries in NA with so much songs. Either way, I can't wait for this. ;D
