This year 
LTV have decided to stick with their national selection "Eirodziesma". But this year they have decided to accept songs by foreign composers which they consequently haven't done so since they last qualified to the final back in 2008.

Semi Final 2: 12 songs will compete in Semi Final 2 and six songs will qualify to the final by 50:50 jury and televote
16th February 2013
Final: 12 songs will battle it out to see who will represent Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. The winner will be decided by 50:50 jury and televote
