 IBA has announced that it will go back to it's national selection "KDAM" as their most recent entry was internally selected. Israel is hoping to qualify in Malmo after not qualifying in 2011 and 2012 Upcoming Schedule for KDAM26th February 2013Semi Final 1: 10 songs will compete in Semi Final 1 and 3 songs will qualify to the final and 2 songs will go to the Second Chance Round 27th February 2013Semi Final 2: 10 songs will compete in Semi Final 2 and 3 songs will qualify to the final and 2 songs will go to the Second Chance Round 28th February 2013Semi Final 3: 10 songs will compete in Semi Final 3 and 3 songs will qualify to the final and 2 songs will go to the Second Chance Round 3rd March 2013Lifesaver Round: 6 songs will be split up into 3 duels, the winners from each duel go on to the next part of the show. Out of these 3 songs, 1 song will be voted to go to the final 7th March 2013Grand Final: 10 songs will compete in the final. The winner will be chosen by a split between the public and jury, with the public having a 70% say while the jury has a 30% say on the final results Who would you like to see represent Israel? |

Good to know Israel aren't backing out.
I'd like to see Shiri Maimon, Harel Skaat or Bo'az Ma'uda again.

The name of the Second chance round has been announced. It will be called the "Lifesaver Round" sounds a bit dramatic but anyway ;D |
