Belarus has confirmed participation in Eurovision Song Contest 2012. The national final was called EuroFest and was used by Belarus to select entry in 2007 to 2009 and was now used again. Entries could be submitted between November 1 and 25. A jury then chose the 15 entries for the Semi-Final. The Semi-Final was held on December 21 in which 5 songs qualified for the final. 50% jury vote and 50% public vote was used in both the Semi-Final and the Final. The final was held on February 14, 2012 as it was moved forward from January 28. Belarus in ESC 2012[/size][/b] Litesound - "We Are the Heroes" Final (February 14) On February 24 it was announced that Litesound would replace Alyona Lanskaya for Belarus in ESC. Alexander Rybak, winner of the contest in 2009, said that he's interested to have a comeback as a composer in his birth country Belarus.
