^^^No, users might get an idea as to who are making those NSs if they made logos. Ahh, true  Well, maybe just a flag of the country they want to make a NS for? |

Do you mind if you answer some of these questions pretty please? ;D 1 )Is there a reason why there has to be only 5 NF's? 2) It's fine by me if 5 are chosen out of, lets say 10. What I don't really like about it is the fact that only 5 users get the chance to get 2 points added to their user score ( since they will do the NF). The others, who are willing to do a NF will not be getting points of course since they weren't chosen. I'm really into this contest so user points mean ablot to me if I'm honest ;D I hope I'm not being rude over here but here goes...  : 3) I'm probably wrong but I thought that the whole idea of changing the structure of how NF's are held, was infact for it to become more fair. For example : A user who doesn't want to do a NF has a far less chance of sending a song for  or  since there is an 80 % chance that these countries would be taken up already for a NF. Wouldn't it be better if all users ( whether they are creating a NF or not) send you a pm with their chosen country, when Semi 1 is uploaded ( just like before I mean  )? That way it would be much more fair I think since those creating a NF, won't have a ''priority'' in choosing a country ;D I do understand that creating a NF takes a lot of time, yes I do understand that but if I had to choose, I'd go with the fairest choice for everyone 4) And lastly, I would rather have everyone vote for the 5 NF's than the top 3 , since 3 people are far too few to decide which 5 go through in my opinion ;D ( if there are of course more than 5 ;D ) I'm sorry for all the paragraphs but I love this contest ( and the host ;D ) |

^ 1. Personally, I like people making national selections and I don't have a problem with people making selections. It's just that quite a few people making national selections are creating threads on the forum without sending a message via YouTube and it can become a bit complicated. If there's a restriction on the amount of selections there is then honestly, it's a lot easier to handle. But 5 is quite a small amount, that can be changed 2. I understand that's a problem. It also applies when some people want to submit an entry in general but submissions have already been closed. I'm not too sure what I can do about that really  3. What you've just said was the general idea of how each NS was supposed to be created, although I'm not sure if it would make much difference if I opened submissions before or after the first semi final is uploaded  How it was supposed to happen: Each user would message me on YouTube telling me which country they'd like to make a NS for. I would then send them a reply to tell them if their NS had been accepted or not.However I then noticed that with quite a few selections were not confirmed via YouTube before hand, but by the time I noticed, the threads had already been created (some of which also had a recap). It's quite difficult to try and keep track of which selections have been created But I agree with you, it has to be fair and at the moment, that's not happening. For the 16th edition, I'll post a message on YouTube telling everyone to wait for a confirmation of their NS before they make a thread on the forums. However if it's still not working, I'll have to try and work out another plan Thanks for your questions and your honesty! It's really appreciated! |

I think everyone should get the same chance (NS or not) So when the first SF is uploaded everybody can contact her with a "form" My country is ___________ I want to do a NS / I don't want to do a NS (If already chosen) My song ... Artist... Time etc. So when somebody sends an entry for the USA at 12:30 and the other one wants to do a NS for the USA but sends it at 12:32 the first one would get the USA and the other one who wanted to make a NS doesn't get the USA. There's enough time between the Semi Final of the actual edition and the next edition so that one could do a NS for another country. The best thing would be if Jessica chose randomly who gets which country. The Special edition was actually my first edition I ever participated in any contest and I loved it (even if I didn't find any good music for Gambia lol) But that's the game and I don't get people complaining about it. They're just bad losers in my opinion |

I think that it's better to choose it randomly. If not, and I have "forums friends" I can say via a PM: Hey, my country is Sweden, coud you vote me? I don't know if I have understood very well the rules, so if it's a silly answer, forgive me... |

There's enough time between the Semi Final of the actual edition and the next edition so that one could do a NS for another country. I agree totally, there is more than enough time to make a NF before the next edition starts! ;D |

You have to wait until the first video of edition 17 is
uploaded, then you can send a PM to Jessica on
YouTube saying which country you want to have
for the 18th edition and if you want to do a National Selection. Then you'll get
a PM if you are allowed to take this country ans then you can start your NS ;D
