Daniel,FYROM may was part of Ancient Macedonia,and you point isn't right It's not about being part of A.M. or not,it's about the name.When Yugoslavia splitted,then they suddenly remembered that they were part of A.M.? Poland may was part of Germany,but it has other name now.That's why I'm saying your point isn't right.If they changed the name e.g. Former Yugoslav Republic we wouldn't have any problem  |

chrisThey Real Name is Vardaska... Fyrom's Area in Macedonian Empire was so Small, e.g. Like Estonia, And Now FYROM want to be named Macedonia... But All The Other Country Except This Small Area, Must not Have The Name Macedonia..

Politics again  As I know, until the Balkan wars, Macedonia (the region), was part of the Ottoman Empire. After the wars the half part was given to Greece and the other to Yugoslavia (later divided into other countries). And not to offend the Greeks it's exactly what Logamac said. There are many places with same name. Even there is a second Nicosia. Or did I get it wrong? Is it that they claim to be Greek or something? I really never got what's the problem. |

And after a long time they made a country with the name '' yugoslavia ''. The Northern Macedonian Part Is Greek! |
