Dude,Macedonia holds almost 2,000,000 people of Greece  How can a small piece of land steal our name cuz they ran out of ideas for their name? Only Thessaloniki has 2,000,000 Population! All The Other Towns + Thessaloniki... Ehm.... Hmm...... 3,500,000 i think! That's the part of Greece. But in FYR Macedonia, there are a few Greeks. Am I wrong? |

I will just shut up because I don't get it at all  Should appeal to that topic in politics. My opinion: Both sides have really cheap arguments. Greece: Why is a name a problem? Macedonia: Why don't you just change your name? why you don't understand?!?!?! macedonia for us greeks is...... something unique! we have history based in macedonian empire and we have alexander etc. they don't have history and they want to have by this name! it's so simple! |

I just found out how many  American cities are named "Athens". It's getting quite ridiculous if we keep talking about name dispute And i know 5.000.000 villages here in greece with the same name! Macedonia was an empire..... athens is a town... athens in usa is again a small town... '' macedonia '' is a country.. so they took the name of an empire! and put it on their country's name! still you don't understand, guys? I was kinda trolling you for all the effort you're pulling out here in the forums at the moment. All of a sudden There are the  US state  Georgia and  Georgia too, just saying. ;D |
