Never really paid any attention to paegants but very glad to see that our homegirl did ok, I think she must be one of the only biracial women to have been Miss Iceland if not the only one and after being the victim of racism so often in her childhood and even during Miss Iceland (she was told she shouldn't enter as it was "only for Icelandic girls") its great for her to prove all the haters wrong

Even though the prelim show was kinda disappointed but wowwww that final was utterly great and a big slap. Well done Atlanta! Catriona GreyAn unforgettable legend. That word can describe her perfectly TOP 3 An obvious but very well-deserved winner for the night One of my favs win for the five times in a row a big contender since day one so no surprise here Another well-deserved as the whole top 5 is all strong TOP 5 see Wow another top 5 It's great since this year is super strong but... Long and salty comment here I'm really happy to see her successfully prove those haters from several specific countries with her own competencies. After being bullied and given a ton of hates and bad rumors like our delegation buying a victory, twisting her words during interview when she was relieved after almost fell off the stage due to her National Costume from "Fall Off" to "Fall On" stage, making her like a devil who don't care about the other contestants who fell on the stage during the preliminary show, being mentioned as a fake crybaby when she had an eye patch and a copycat who tried to copy Catriona (when Fahsai actually did before in our national selection in 2017 and they are ironically good friends for each other too...) (which is also the reason why she almost fell off the stage)
Excuse me? This is what she deserved? ugh and in the end, as expected, those people don't even care to apologize her for what they have done. About the question we got Many people told that Fahsai doesn't have an ability to answer that question but to be honest, it's a really hard one for all of us (Thais) to reply. Like, we all know that privacy should be above the security and government shouldn't dare to interfere with our personal data. But for Thailand, a fake democratic country with almost 0% freedom of thinking like being against the ex-junta government (who still acts as a dictatorship) would result to an unknown penalty so I understood why she took a decision to answer the question as neutrally as possible. TOP TEN a totally dark horse here but really deserved being in a top ten is expected but the top 5 ladies were somehow stronger so... (Really love Miss Indonesia's attitude towards her "falling" accident on the stage though ) Robbed REST unexpected tbh. I thought she would easily join the top 10 gangs. another unexpected as she was one of the favorites. should have been in top 20 </3 she is so coollll National CostumeAnd MUO did it again I really feel bad for both Miss Malaysia (especially when she said "No, I'm from Malaysia.") and Miss Philippines (who got a Tamara Todevska thing)
Overall an extraordinary year in terms of contestants and pretty good production. See you in 2020!

Never really paid any attention to paegants but very glad to see that our homegirl did ok, I think she must be one of the only biracial women to have been Miss Iceland if not the only one and after being the victim of racism so often in her childhood and even during Miss Iceland (she was told she shouldn't enter as it was "only for Icelandic girls") its great for her to prove all the haters wrong This is similar to 2015 when Japan was also represented by a half-black, half-Japanese woman, the first time the country ever sent a biracial candidate. She also got a lot of hate because Japan has traditionally tried to maintain its homogeneity, extremely strict immigration laws and all. Just like Miss Iceland this year, she also made it to the top 10.
10th. Not bad. Very delighted. The countries are listed in alphabetical order since there is no published ranking of 6th-10th. Who knows? Maybe USA actually fell short of being the top 5, being the 6th-highest scored candidate by the time the cut had to be made. Also, Miss Universe is based in the USA, so their home turf contestants is guaranteed a place in at least the top 20 about 99% of the time.
