I finally got the nerves to watch this. And omg 1:52 (screaming) Also what's up with this season?  Nicole Schmidhofer,  Tommy Ford,  Lucas Braathen and now Ryan Cochran-Siegle and  Urs Kryenbühl (just to name a few) all had a fall like that.  I mean these falls happen regularly, but this season I feel like there's not any race without at least one of them. |

Congrats to the 3 new chosen mods.  Thinking back about it (and reading the applications I'm not too surprised particularly about Julian and Jasna (her application did at first however lol). Also Wwwsc ftw lol. But if I may also say that there were many other applicants who'd have deserved to make it (as well as the ones that stood no chance from moment 0 on  ).  |

idk where to post it other than this, but... ... I finally got my DNA ancestry results. Click the spoiler to see what my (apparently) actual ethnic background is. 71.9 % Eastern European (predictable)
19.7 % Balkan (wtf where)
7.0 % Baltic (wtf [2])
1.4 % Ashkenazi Jew (wow, this is surprising actually)
and no German at all?! I am shook as my mother's ancestors are actually of German origin (that's what I thought until now) Wow, I am actually... shook? |

idk where to post it other than this, but... ... I finally got my DNA ancestry results. Click the spoiler to see what my (apparently) actual ethnic background is. 71.9 % Eastern European (predictable)
19.7 % Balkan (wtf where)
7.0 % Baltic (wtf [2])
1.4 % Ashkenazi Jew (wow, this is surprising actually)
and no German at all?! I am shook as my mother's ancestors are actually of German origin (that's what I thought until now) Wow, I am actually... shook? Oh wow, that's so awesome! Which one did you use? My brother did the one with 23andMe and it said like 5% East Asian  which makes me curious to take the test, but I know that not even siblings have the same DNA compound. It would interesting to see, I guess. |
