IFSC 21 will be something special.
Like the 20th anniversary, we will have a longer recap, but due to copyright issues to max. 25 seconds. We also will have interval acts and a stunning intro like last time.
We will also present the songs ahead of the contest and also vote now if you want countries to be held for multiple editions or just one
Furthermore, you guys will maybe see a new of video's if that is possible for me.

Suggested idea's:
1) Voting done in another way (by me hosting a voting show)
2) Encouraging small countries to take part as well (Mainly Africa, not South Africa and bigger countries) by head start votes and additional UserScore Points.
3) Draw to be chosen manually and putting song genres together (Like ESC 2013)
4) Countries to be held for multiple editions.
5) Special editions: For example Rock, German, 90's, 80's, Soul, Jazz etcetera.
Tell me by the numbers which idea's you like and which you don't. You can also put in a suggestion or idea as well.

I think 1 is not possible or is getting difficult, because of time zones etc. (If I understand the idea, otherwise please explain to me.  ) Furthermore, I dislike 2, that would not be fair, because good songs can come from everywhere and with this suggestion you are favoring a particular group. Like the other ideas. By the way, can you do an edition where you give us a country, instead of us choosing one? Would be an idea if others like it too. |

anything new is fine by me..actually once I thought about a Retro edition where all songs must be relased before 1999.12.31.
I've been tagging along since the 11th edition but I find that weird that the winning country might not take part in the next edition I mean if someone wins with a country [for example: The Netherlands in the next edition that country must be taken in my oppinion perhaps by the user who was that country in the edition that country won.]

That is not retro, I've been using 80's songs all over IFSC, some winning. ^^
Not a bad idea, actually a good one. Indeed, we'll do that starting from 20. ^^
