In this thread you can post Eurovision Facts that you either found or discovered by yourself They can be funny, interesting, shocking, weird, but please nothing that everybody knows like "The voting system is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12" or something like that ^^ During the history of Eurovision, 51 countries have participated at least once. Out of these 51 countries, 41 countries have the color red in their flags ;D ________________________________________
Each second year (from 2007) there has been an opera song in Eurovision.
2007 - Slovenia
2008 - none 2009 - Sweden
2010 - none 2011 - France 2012 - none ( Albania is not opera ) 2013 - Romania

In 2008, Azerbaijan may sound a bit opera'ish at the beginning

Norway is the best and worst Eurovision country at the same time. (Most ever points + most 0 points and last places)

Although Luxembourg has won Eurovision 5 times, none of the winning artists were actually from the country itself, four were from France and one artist was from Greece.

Did you know that for Krista's performance there were 8 people on stage in total? Krista Two backings Two male dancers (EDIT: Female dancers in costumes) 3 female dancers They didn't break the rule because the male dancers left the stage before the female dancers came.
