I agree on this, it was good how it was... this is a bit crazy. In facts, flaggeoriga Georgia could send Katy Perry as example. I simply don't like that idea. Well they have to find 9 Georgian artists first and Katy has to be chosen by the voters then You are thinking that it's totally easy to send another artist. Also if only Switzerland gets the permission, isn't it even more unfair than this? My problem isnt about fairness (however people who host a NS have an even bigger advantage), I was always against that artists from other countries can represent Switzerland. It is about that every artist can represent every country, for example I can choose as San Marino a Serbian artist who sings in his mother language or like Tom said someone like Katy Perry, and if I choose the other participants in the NS weak enough and do it 2 or 3 times Im sure Katy Perry or Mr.X with a great song will probably win.

Imagine Latvia sending a Japanese artist As much I love Oriental music...I won't be using them but most probably Lithuanian and Estonian or Russian artists because they are the closest to Latvia and there is a - friendship I think

There's going to be someone who sends Lady Gaga or something :/
I might be able to get away with an unknown French, or Dutch artiest. I was also looking at the Belgian empire, because I feel those countries might have a connection to Belgium. The only country that was in their empire was the Democratic Republic of the Congo, so that ideas out the window.

^ +1 What about a little edit of the rule? - The singer mustn't to come from other contintents except Europe (So from every country which doesn't participate in NVSC, basically) - The singer has to sing in English or in the mother tongue of the country that he does represent - Increase the number of minimal contestants from a country that are required for a foreign artist: like 20 or something (it's too easy to make a 10 national selection, with a country with a huge music industry like Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Romania, Spain, Italy, Germany, Netherlands etc.

I agree with Rick. If I ever do my national selection I'm not sure if I will add singers that are not Danish and if I do I will add only from neighbor countries (Sweden, Finland etc.).

RTL NEWS!
Today, the Xperia Arena in Luxembourg was officially finished. It has a capacity of 8,500 seats and its court can be used for Hockey, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis and Badminton matches. Some seats are removable right next to the rink so it can be used also for Futsal in special occasions. But maybe the most exciting thing is that it can be used aswell for concerts! Actually it's the biggest arena of this type in Luxembourg.
What do you think?
