1 school lesson = 45 minutes as usual But this school was a bit special. There we had 1 lesson = 50 minutes. I was there for only 1 year. How did you do a two hour test in a lesson then? Or did I read that wrong ? I've overload the time. I hope I remember right (two years ago) the official time was 1 hour(more than one lesson). Ironically it happened again some weeks after that.

but it's good you used the extra time. Honestly, I can't finish early unless it's a subject I'm good at. When I see people in front of me finished an English exam with so much writing before me, it shows they didn't try to answer long I had to use two answer books today for English Paper 2, and almost ran out of time I always finish earlier but that it was truly too long. When we have finished an exam we can leave the room until everybody has finished it but only our English teacher says that we have to wait because it wouldn't be fair if there are people who have only the normal break(20 minutes) and others who finished very early have 40 minutes for example. When I'm finish earlier with the exams what happens mostly in vocabulary tests I'm always bored very much. If it's not mock or state exam test, I draw on the test paper my teacher gives us.. why not? Pass the time by.. it's not like they complain. And I get bored. Unless I draw on the answer book itself then they won't care what I do

I got my first mock exam result back. History - 59% (C) - It was a hard test no doubt. I wrote a s*it people in history answer. First one I wrote about Queen Brónagh, a character I made up, living in the Roman Empire. I got 16/20 marks. But the second one I had to write an account on an actual person in history. I choose hitler, but I didn't put events in place so I got 5/20. I now what I need to improve on now My friends got 53%, 56% and 88% (only A in the class ) Dreading Irish tomorrow.. I didn't answer half of the listening comprehension because I couldn't understand these people.. lol.. they all had different accents. And I forgot some of the poem notes I had to learn off, so I had to write the last paragraph in my own words..

Odd test O.o In History test I have to talk about the meaning of political cartoons On a history test here, you get: Q1: photos (you are given photos and you answer questions on them - historic ones of course!) Q2: documents (a document from someone in history is given and you answer questions on it) Q3: People in history (write about a person living in whatever civilization is given to you, you get 4 choices, answer 1 and then the other part is a REAL person in history, you also get 4 choices here.) Q4: Short Answer questions (covered over your whole course, and all is in the book you studied from). Q5: Source questions (given a sort of document or picture, and you are given questions based on it, similar to question 2.. but not so similar). Q6: Long answer questions. Choose a topic (like International relations (World War I/II, that period), Social change in Ireland, etc) and you answer 2 Complicated test, I know, but I described it as best as I could

I really used to be good at school, but this year a lot of things happened and I'm doing quite badly for some subjects eg. Maths or Russian (last one I don't even care about but whatsoever). Disappointment? Yes, because I know I'm able to do better, yet it's so difficult... At least I'm good at Estonian, English and Geography...
