My school life's going extremely well And since most of you are on holiday you can put up with my results yay My progress in the 2015 academic year so far: I need at least 80 credits to pass, and if 50 of those credits are attained at Excellence level then I get an Excellence endorsement, which is the highest achievement you can get in NCEA ( NZ's school system). I'm 9 credits off passing and 1 away from Excellence endorsement, and we're still 4 and a bit months away from completing exams The way I'm going I don't even have to turn up to the end of year exams and still get the highest qualification possible I'm very proud of myself

This was my first high school year, my major is Bilingual English Mathematics and Computer Science (mate-info bilingv engleza) and it's pretty much the hardest major in my country I have 5 important subjects *and another 13 subjects*, receiving Semestrial Written Papers called "Teze". I'll write only for those 5 the average for each semester and the exam-mark. Best is 10, worst is 1. If the number after the comma is between 0 and 4, the final mark is the number before the comma and if it's between 5 and 9, the final mark is the number before the comma +1. (exemple: If I get 9.5, the final mark is 10. If I get 9.4, the final mark is 9) Romanian - 10 *in teza 8.9* and 10 *in teza 9.6* Maths - 8 *in teza 7.5* and 8 *in teza 7.3* English (profieciency/native level) - 10 *in teza 88%* and 10 *in teza 81%* <- screwed it at the Essay part Computer Science - 10 *in teza 9.5* and 10 *in teza 9.5* Physics - 9 *in teza 8.5* and 9 *in teza 9* My Average Mark for the whole year is 97.2%. Next year I'm gonna leave the French group and start German bc I hate French

I've gotta write another essay about this prompt: "Language does not always convey reality; it can disguise the truth in a number of ways." Language, then, is much more than a communicative tool β it acts as a marker of the world in which we live. Discuss." And I've got no ideas

Language, then, is much more than a communicative tool β it acts as a marker of the world in which we live. Discuss." And I've got no ideas Well something's word can affect how you see it. Like if you described a table as amazing you'd be more likely to see it as amazing than if it was described as awful. Power of suggestion. Also like, in a war, one side would write about the events in a very different way than the other side, even if they're describing the same thing. I suppose, also, language can make up fiction. Books like Alice in Wonderland have very little in common with reality Hope this helps ^^

Actually, it is the normal German system, however the points are able to tell more about tendencies in the individual subjects
If I have 4 points or less in a subject, my graduation (which I'll get after the final exams in one and a half years) could be in danger!
and now my points
