Wait, what? I thought you also have British roots? I wasn't sure. If you see the post in the other thread I said "I think". I recently asked my mother. My grandma's relative just live in the UK and some other in Australia.

Did it frighten you, how we kissed when we danced on the light up floor?

My father is 100% Austrian I think, but I will ask my grandma asap My mother and her mother were born in Bad Radkersburg, 50m away from Slovenia. The parents of this grandma are born in Maribor, but they had to move to in the end of the 1920's, cuz of the yugoslavian politics. I don't know if I have there any relatives left. My grandpa is born too in Austria (Burgenland) but his parents were born in Hungary, cuz of the monarchy, Burgenland was in the hungarian-part of Austria-Hungary.

This is what I wrote on the other thread: 'til now I'm still unsure of this since nobody on both sides of my family took track of our ancestry lineage but my mum told me that her mum used to tell her that her husband (my granddad) came from the lineage of ancient Chinese (those long-braided-haired ones) that resided in the Philippines centuries ago which makes my mum Chinese (I just don't know how many percentage). My mum's surname wasn't even close to any Chinese surnames since when we were colonized by the Spaniards, changing of surnames from Chinese to Spanish became popular and I guess my ancestors joined the bandwagon. However, our Chinese lineage is more evident in my sister more than me (but frankly speaking, she looks more of a Korean rather than Chinese but hey some Koreans came from direct Chinese lineage) and even 'til now, a number of random elderly Chinese around still ask us if we were Chinese so I'm sure we really do possess a Chinese blood. On my father's side, though they don't claim that they descended from a direct Spanish lineage. They used to tell me that my grandad from my father's side was a mestizo that married my pure Filipina grandmum. The Spanish ethnicity is also evident in some of my father's brothers and sisters which also look mestizo and mestiza. I guess that explains my white complexion and short height ( ). Then my Filipino blood came from those ancestors of mine who married either Chinese (from my mum's side) or Spanish (from my dad's side), one of which is my grandmum from my dad's side, which makes me a quarter of Chinese, a quarter of Spanish and a half- Filipino. It's a really complicated story but this is the detailed ancestry lineage I could ever tell to anyone and everyone.

My dad keeps saying that my family are related to Robert the Bruce and to the mayor (maybe senator) idk of Boston at the time of the Boston tea party. My family also owned a lot of land in Texas and owned a horse ranch. They were very wealthy but they lost it all.

I have Irish roots from my mother, I also know some of my ancestors are from Germany. So I know I have some foreign roots at least.
