My opinion is that if the "Other Contests" get splitted up, the smaller ones (like mine) have no chances to get ANY participants. It's already very hard to get some on my contest.
Although it's a good idea with sorting them up I'll be neutral and let the others decide.
Summarized: Good idea for cleaning the Forums up Bad idea for hosts of smaller contests (I think the others know what I mean.)

At least we have such creative members, like Rick. We haven't heard anything from the admins so far, because we can't see what they discuss. Transparency would be nice, Christian. Maybe we could help you, which we're trying to right now.

Maybe create a contest of the day or week selection, for a feature on the main page or whatever. OR WE JUST DUMP ALL CONTESTS ON THE MAIN PAGE, LOLZ

Transparency would be nice, Christian. Sure, but again, I rely on the confidence for all the forumers have, not only from a group of few.

And this is why small contests will stay small, because you need to promote your ass, walk the walk, shake them booty, and attract more members, who will go and compete. Big contests hit their limits, and so people will go to smaller contests.
You need a business plan. I've got one, and it's rejected.
But I'm gonna make a strong, ready to go forum, whenever you like it, or without you. ^^

And if I'm correct, you're not bound to sponsors, to add other themes and subjects to these forums, I guess? Promotion, Organization, Categorization, and bootylicious, is what you need. I make money of my other 3 forums, and that is not little money...

Plus, some users prefer smaller contests. They are easier to manage.

But it's a main asset, and can be used for it.
That's a choice, but most hosts want a big contest, logic.
