 Italy is discussing their results, and might be withdrawing, because of the lack of attention it got during NVSC 4.Seriously? I have only been in the finals once...And still...I'm sending Latvia like it is a must-to-do thing..you shouldn't have saying lack of attention/bad results..coming 17th and not qualifying is much worse than being the 11th in the grand-final... |

I can say that, I got the song handed to me (Thanks Daniel  ) and I wasn't involved really that much in NVSC this edition. |

Lisa Lavie (surname pronounced lah-vee) is a Canadian singer and songwriter originally from LaSalle, Québec, Canada.
Lavie's early musical influences included her older brothers, hip hop dancer Michael and disk jockey Danny.[1] At age 16 Lavie toured Canada as a backup singer with the French-Canadian hip hop group Dubmatique, after which she recorded her own demo CD. Lavie's demo CD reached the same producer who had co-written Mariah Carey's first album, and Lavie accepted his invitation to move to California to work with him.
In 2006, Lavie's vocals were included on the soundtracks of the motion pictures Stick It and The Guardian.
In 2007, Lavie began to use the Internet to reach fans and arouse interest of record labels. By October her music video "Angel" was featured on YouTube's front page and became a finalist in the 2007 YouTube Awards music category,Lavie's discovery and video views being noted beyond YouTube itself.
Lavie was one of the first artists to use YouTube to promote her own music before releasing an album. In Lavie's first album, the independently produced Everything or Nothing (2008), Lavie was credited as writing or co-writing all of the lyrics and melodies, including solo songwriter/composer on three tracks. The album's songs were noted for their diversity of genres.
Will she be able to follow the success of NVSC4 3rd place Belgium entry, and her fellow Quebecer Marie-Mai who achieved second place representing France.

After some discussions  LTV decided that the entry that was originally supposed to enter couldn't do it..and Latvia will be represented by:  Antra Stafecka with her song: Maldugunis dzēšot |

I became 2 times 17th in the semi finals with  Italy, lol |
