Well not really facts but just random stuffs about Algeria Everytime the country qualified to the final, it was either 3rd or 5th in semi-final. Just as in #15, Italy beat Algeria again. Algeria got the record of most points in both semifinal and final, but not the best places. Both the winner and Algeria received votes from 28 countries. Algeria received 5 sets of while Italy 4. (so basically i just needed 11 more points to win ) Algeria's place is the same as the position in draw. (same happened with Iceland as well)

Before North Laul was used as a selection way for Estonia, the country's qualification ratio was of 45%, whereas now, the qualification ratio of the entries selected through North Laul is of 83%

Excluding Egypt, Kazakhstan has throughout 13 editions never given points to Bosnia & Herzegovina. Meanwhile, it has received points from every country at least once.
In the semi-finals, besides Bosnia & Egypt, Kazakhstan has never given points to Belgium, France and The Netherlands. It has also never received points from Ireland, Montenegro and Switzerland.
In the finals, besides Bosnia & Egypt, Kazakhstan has never given points to Bulgaria, Greece, Latvia, Luxembourg, Portugal and Serbia. It has never received points from Israel and the United Kingdom.
