NVSC 13 RESULTS - FACTS Kazakhstan, Germany, Luxembourg, Croatia and Albania achieved their best result during this edition.
Kazakhstan broke the record of points by getting 236 points previously held by Denmark with 231 points.
Israel is the second host country to end up last after Switzerland in the 3rd edition.
Switzerland was the only big 5 member to end up in the top 6 while the others finished in the bottom 10.
Kazakhstan received eight 12 points in total, more than any other country before in a final.
Sweden becomes the second country after Ukraine to get into the big 5/6 six times.
Ireland got the exact same places as last edition in both the final and the semi-final.
Denmark is the only country to be in the PQR for the first time while the rest are in for the second or third time. Spain and Algeria would have been in the PQR for the second time if they hadn't withdrawn last time they were.
Most of the non-English language songs of the final ended up in the bottom 10.
Germany received seven 12 points, more than the runner-up Sweden who received five 12 points.
Croatia is the second country after Greece to end up in the top 5 after qualifying from the PQR.
Slovakia has given 10 points to the Faroe Islands every time they could vote for them.
It is the second time that a duo wins after Ukraine's victory. However, the Kazakh duo was made up of a group and a solo artist unlike the Ukrainian which were two solo artists.
"Falling For You" was originally entitled "The Only Thing".
The Netherlands ended up 11th after performing 11th in the final while Germany, Sweden, Albania, Ukraine, Ireland and Israel all finished one place lower than their draw number. However, Finland ended up one place higher than their draw.
It is the second time that a 10th-11th place ties occurs since the 5th edition where Slovenia and Cyprus were tied. In this edition, Montenegro and the Czech Republic were in tie for the 10th place which Montenegro won and qualified.
Although Italy was high in the betting odds and won the web award, it only ended up 20th.

I also think that something can be said about Italy, which was the country the most overrated by the Betting Odds.
