The TV-Radio Broadcaster, WXEG, has now officially confirmed their announcement of their second artist. Making it the forty-second official SaS #2-representant!

The submission has been brought out by the internal tastes from the TV/Radio Broadcaster's HoD and the SaS-creator!

In the last edition where Ohio sent the female Christian-musician Jessa Anderson, they managed to get into the Top 10 with her song "Fireflies", as it ended 9th with 67 points!

And this time the risky point of sending something very different has been laid in the state's decision. We're talking about an industrial rock band, who rose to fame with a couple of their hit singles, as they've been nominated and won for many Grammy Awards. They're good for 30 million sales of records, good for being ranked in the music magazine Rolling Stone's Top 100 Greatest Artists of All Time and good about their lead singer for being one of the most vital singers in music due to being the only official members of this band. Besides being solely responsible for his directions, so that came in regard of seeing the band as a risky choice for the state. Not all popular musicians/musical groups will make it for a clear final. It's pretty much the song that sums the tastes up for the voting!

Here we have Nine Inch Nails, one of the rather popular industrial rock bands to exist!
The band has still its activeness with their newest album from this year, 'Hesitation Marks'. But by the matter of the song choice for the state, the highly praised lead singer Trent Reznor just have one in mind to rule their music with like it was back in their succesful decade of the 90's.

They'll establish their own performance, when the band will get along together and then also put up an effort worth the experience of listening to a good and wide range of genres, which the band also can relate their style for!

Song: "Wish"

Written and produced by Reznor himself, collaborating with Flood, a post-punk
and alternative rock record producer, for the producing.

The song has been released promotionally as a single, hitting #25 in the Billboard's Alternative chart.
With the Grammy-achievement they're on this very comfort-zone to best their participation with "Wish"

In the very big additional, their song won the Best Metal Performance in the 1993 Grammy Awards.
Referencing a lyric from the song, Trent Reznor, the lead singer, later joked that his epitaph should read:

REZNOR: Died. Said 'fist fuck' and won a Grammy.
