  This is a thread about the SaS-news related to  North Dakota TV broadcaster/Radio station: KJKJ (TV/Radio broadcaster located in Grand Forks)
Musical format: Active Rock Artist: Shannon CurfmanThe TV-Radio Broadcaster, KJKJ, has now officially confirmed their announcement of their second artist. Making it the thirty-eighth official  SaS #2-representant!
The submission has been brought out by the internal tastes from the TV/Radio Broadcaster's HoD and the  SaS-creator!  Back in the artist's teenage years, the musical career has been sprung from having signed up for the record label Arista Records and has succesfully done the artist's first studio album!
At the age of only 14 years from that time, she has been having 2 top 40-singles on the U.S. Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, one of them could perhaps be the participating song for the artist. We'll find out!  Our artist is the blues-rock guitarist and singer, Shannon Curfman, who is now at the age of 28, and began at the later stages to tour and launch her own record label called Purdy Records in which she has made a success by recording both a 5-track EP and another full-lenght album, where she topped the Blues Top Albums back in 2007!
Now, on the present time, she will be participating the Northern Dakota-state, successing the previous North Dakotan entrant, Secret Cities with their song "Slacker", which ended poorly on a 10th place with 47 points.
Shannon will be digging on her true singing with one of her greater charted singles to compete with! The song is from her first studio album, Loud Guitars, Big Suspicions.
She recorded the album in an age of 14. And for this instance, Loud Guitars, Big Suspicions took #3 in the Billboard's Blues Albums charts, as well as reaching #39 in the Heatseekers charts.. Becoming one of her greater singles by reaching #27 in Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks charts.

KJKJ will be the TV/Radio broadcaster, the executive submitter, for the US State of  North Dakota.
The station is located in the city of Grand Forks.
Its musical format is:

She will then be the ninth SaS-entrant to be having a Song Selection.
