  This is a thread about the SaS-news related to  Illinois TV broadcaster/Radio station: WLRA (TV/Radio broadcaster located in Lockport)
Musical format: Variety Artist: BarlowGirlThe TV-Radio Broadcaster, WLRA, has now officially confirmed their announcement of their second artist. Making it the sixth official  SaS #2-representant!
We're moving on a different way of a rock group. It's religious-based, so we're then heading onto a Christian rock-group. More specifically the 'BarlowGirl', which contains three sisters (Rebecca, Lauren, and Alyssa Barlow) with all of them following their 'Anti-Conformity' message of "Don’t be conformed, be Transformed" from Romans 12:1-2. The message gives this meaning of how they'll encourage people to trust the unseen. Just because you can’t see God doesn’t mean He isn’t there!
This made the broadcaster's HoD have a tongue-in-cheek due to progress of having the whole variety of different musicians in mind, but he fell for it, and then I was on that boat too!  Special thanks to  Liev for suggesting this band!  Read more down below and click on the specific link if you want. ★ Biography ★ Discography ★ Photos ★Song: "Never Alone"The only participating single here, and it is the girl group's breakthrough hit, and was suggested by one of our supporters!  The song was written all by themselves over a period of 45 minutes. In their More Than Music-book, the band says:
 One morning, we were in our living room praying and talking through our latest journal entries while Becca strummed idly on her guitar...On an impulse, Alyssa flipped open her journal and found some phrases she'd written over and over and sang them to the melody Becca was playing. 
"Never Alone" was the longest-running No. 1-song on Radio & Records's Christian Hit Radio and Christian rock charts.
It was named the 'Song of the Year' for 2004 on both charts
On 2005, the song was nominated for a Dove Award for Rock Recorded Song of the Year at the 36th GMA Dove Awards.★ Lyrics ★I waited for you today But you didn't show No no no I needed You today So where did You go? WLRA will be the TV/Radio broadcaster, the executive submitter, for the US State of  Illinois.
The station is located in the city of Lockport.

Currently they will be waiting for your votes to come, when they have revealed their songs just now!
They needs your help of deciding which songs of his will be the representing entry
for the US state of Illinois ENTRY NO. 1 "HALLELUJAH (LIGHT HAS COME)" The song has been written by themselves.
This is a Christmas-track from the band, who have thought that could be worth being in the contest, during the season we are into.
It has been produced by Otto Price, whose recording-collaborations is with  Katy Perry back in 2001, when Katy was only 17
