Some guy from Puerto Rico had previously tried to join usbut he was rejected as we don't recognize Puerto Rico as a sovereign independent nation thatis eligible to take part. I 100% understand your point there. But does that mean that all the songs from Puerto Rico have to be sent by Usa? Saying this because the music from Puerto Rico is very different from the American music, even it's in a different language. That's kinda' sad  But I get you, if it was the opposite then a lot of ''countries'' without recognition could join. But Puerto Rico has a kinda special political status that it's different of all the other countries without recognition because isn't a state of the U.S but it has a governor, and it's kinda independent because they are an "associated free state" but they don't want to be independent at all. Yup it's kinda sad too because after Mexican and Brazilian music industry i would say that Puertorican is the biggest one. In conclussion: Puerto Rico is the Schrodinger Cat of the Countries in the world  |
