So far, I'm most looking forward to Conchita's song!! I'm practically always for the drag acts in Eurovision. Her 2012 attempt was actually good but I NEEDED Trackshittaz to represent instead . It's stupid that Belarus might consider censoring her performance. Then again, Belarus are another league of their own when it comes to Eurovision. If the commentator tells the Belarussians it's Kim Kardashian with a beard representing they'd change their mind .

At least we'll get some attention this year But I don't expect anything concerning results...

For Conchita, I'm all for it. Drag acts should happen more common at ESC As Beanzie said, her attempt for 2012 was very good. The Belarussian broadcaster is considering that? Oh Belarus, why.. you would broadcast Verka who represented Ukraine and I'm sure you knew it was a man, and now you won't broadcast Conchita who represent Austria.. But I think they'll have to do it! Wouldn't the EBU find out if the broadcaster didn't show the whole show? It has happened in the past..

I'm sure they will. I'm pretty certain that they gave points to Ukraine when Verka represented so I don't see what's the deal with Conchita representing. Probably would give them 12 points if she represented Russia . Plus often in Eurovision early rumours are never true. But we all know Belarus is weird in Eurovision. Make a national final, vote for a song and change it immediately afterwards!! (that's been done for the past 4 years it doesn't make sense!!).

Yes, I bet that if Ireland (example) send something LGBT related and it saw something like a woman with a beard or a man with a wig and make-up then Belarus won't broadcast but if one of their neighbours did, then that's a different story But I don't believe that Belarussian won't broadcast ^^ Yes Belarus is strange. Take Alyona, first it's Rhythm of Love and then Solayoh a few months later If they are going to do that, I expect Belarus to choose their song in January and change in March The odds seem obvious..

Often with Belarus, their second song choice is better than the first (except for 3 + 2 with that AWFUUUUUUUUUL 'Butterflies' song). But still, that's not the point they might as well internally select. I'm still sure they will broadcast Conchita's performance. I reckon she'll have a great song and I think the 2014 edition will be an awesome one .

I am 1,5 hour away from the ESC 2014-location. That'll be my second live-experience, apart from being there at Malmö too. For SF1, when I was ofc cheering for Emmelie and Anouk! Unfortunately the ticket sales for the Finals were sold out. But that was also from April 12, when I was doing that. So I'll do it much sooner when this edition opens up for ticket sales which I'll assume will be coming very soon

One of my life's ambitions is to go to Eurovision at least ONCE!! Nearest experience for me was going to a Lordi concert and they performed 'Hard Rock Halleujah'. Whether you like them or not, I watched their performance and understood why they won it was amazing!!. 'Tornero' remains my fave from that year .
