Our way to Copenhagen

BEFORE READING I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT NONE OF THE EVENTS QUOTED HERE HAPPENED ACTUALLY IN THE REAL LIFE (except the part about the Christmas songs). ALSO I DON'T JUDGE THE SONG "CAKE TO BAKE" BADLY, THESE ARE JUST JOKES.

Leaving Spain was less difficult than entering, because this time we did not pass through Brequettoña. The environment was quite joyfull : 𝐴𝑑𝑟𝑖𝑎̀ was grumpy because he wanted to visit Barcelona because "it is 1000000 times better than Madrid and their horrible football club". He mentioned the word "polla" talking about the team but he did not want to translate. The members of Pollapönk reacted but we told them we weren't talking about their band. The girls too were grumpy because we still were not going to Paris, Daniel was grumpy because we locked him in the luggage compartment when he asked to stop in Cologne to pray and finally Herciana was grumpy, but this is less chocking because it's a custom for her.

In fact, only two people were having fun : Liev and Liévenya (the name may be significative). In fact, they did not care about everybody else's mood and enjoyed listening the best of Carola's Christmas songs on her holy I pod (yes the i pod is holy since the Vatican adventure). She was very happy to meet someone who shared her passion for schlager and Carola.



We crossed Poland and Lithuania without anything happening, except another argument between Talitha and Daniel about Angela Merkel, but it finished with the suitcases in the luggage compartment as usual (I am afraid we are starting to have some habits, some insane habits I would even say) and settled in Riga.

We knew there were some political instability in Eastern Europe (particularly Ukraine, were we even participated) but none heard about the civil war in Latvia in 2009, opposing the Republicans and the Anmarists, and won by the Anmarists. Then till this day, Latvia has become People's Republic of Latvianmary, making their leader, Anmary, the first female dictator.


Her politics was this one : LATVIA MUST NOT BE IN THE FINAL OF EUROVISION SONG CONTEST!!! She took the lead of the Eirodziesma and manipulated everyyear the results to send the songs she wanted, and even participated and (of course) won in 2012.

But her dictatorship is near the end because this year, a super singer participates in the competition, and the bookmakers predicted a qualification in final if he won : his name? Dons.

Whatever, did she think, I will eliminate him! The problem is that the people love him, and it would be too explicit if anybody else won. She had to find an idea...
And she did : "His running order will be very bad, so he sings in first part of the show. He has lost!"
But... Dons qualified for second round, along with Hyunzales 's Samantha Tina and Aarzemnieki! But, desesperate, she decided to phone her old friend : Betty White!


Anmary exposed her problem and Betty found immediatly the solution : one of the songs was talking about a cake
- Aren't you serious? Nobody will vote for "Cake to bake"!
- Believe in me, like would say my old friend Bonnie, put the commercials after Cake to Bake and you'll be fine!

So did Anmary and how surprised was she when she saw Betty using a pendulum and starting to hypnotise people through the TV.
"You loooooove cakes". I am an old granny, I make cakes, you looooooove my cakes. I would be very disappointed if you did not like cakes."

You know the rest of the story and Aarzemnieki won.


Anmary knew we would search them, because she knows everything about who comes and goes in her country and hosted us with the band Aarzemnieki, nicely! She asked for some advice to Daniel about creating a religion that would make people worship her and we were leaving Latvianmary!
