Foreign artists can represent your country, but you have to keep the rules: -> You must hold a NS when you want to include foreign artists -> > 50% must come from the original country (Swedish NS : More then 50% must be Swedish decent) -> You can not include popular artists (e.g. Lady Gaga,Rihanna,Cascada,Leona Lewis,Miley Cyrus etc.) -> The artist must sing in the native language or in English: That means: If a Latvian artists wants to participate in a German NS, the song must be in English or German RULE DELETED

I'm not sure..I'm not really digging with this concept...only if for example Yohio is able to enter as the Japanese entrant because he relased a single/album[don't know] in Japan thus becoming also a "Japanese" singer so basically artists that at least have connection with the country this way is better, but for example (I know they are banned) Gaga representing Italy is weird as she has low connection to the country such as Katy Perry with Portugal and so on...blood relationship is no from me, if their case is like Yohio's why not?

Yohio could enter the Japanese selection. But more then 50% of the artists must be Japanese, and it has to be a non-famous artist

Yay, that makes me gag. I can guess which way I'll be going with foreign artists.

In my opinion, this is unfair rule, but maybe I just don't understand it correct. Does this mean, that, for example, un-popular british artist could represent Latvia even it's not a duet with some Latvian artists?

I like the rule, but the world "famous" sounds quite imprecise to me.
May you define some artists, because otherwise there will always be complains about the Fame I guess.

Yes you are ^^ ------------ Addidtion: The artist must sing in the native language or in English: That means: If a Latvian artists wants to participate in a German NS, the song must be in English or German Funny, but you won't find any foreign artist that will sing in Latvian P.S. Anyways I think this rule isn't fair... Aren't there enough artists in Germany, France or UK, that you'd need to use artists from other countries??
