Besides making tables, there is another cool way to post results. These are maps.
On maps, it is easy to show which countries qualified, which countries didn't and which countries are inactive in a contest.

Here is an example of what you can do:
This is a map I made for Eurovision 2012.
You edit the maps on Paint by coloring the countries and it's islands.
There is also one for the whole world: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e8/World_blank_map_countries.PNG
