Hello everybody and welcome to the selection for the Austrian entry!
Today, the Head of the TV broadcaster, ORF, has revealed the 6 entrants, who have decided to
participate for this country, as it had suffered poor results lately with little or no qualifications to the Final.
We made that last time with a concept like, but we have now accepted suggestions from the fellow
participating countries's Head of Broadcaster!
Decision had in hand for having our country to be showing its real identity of
Austrian music, which will hopefully better the current stats of what the country has been achieved so far!
So I will now present you our entrants for this edition of Musical Clash of Austria!
ENTRY NO. 1
◘◘◘ ◘◘◘
Charlee - "Good To Be Bad"
This might be the hot favorite act for this selection.
In the past times, Charlee's Ke$ha cover of "Boy Like You" made some extremely good placings,
even with some wins with that song.
But for this edition of Musical Clash of Austria, the HoD of the TV Broadcaster had a difficult time
thinking which entry of hers would made an excellent choice to be participating in NVSC #6 for Austria.
The song, "Good To Be Bad" has been chosen, but with the addition of a small risk. The track has no actual music video, so if this song wins,
the HoD will be giving up a permission with NVSC counsil of a live video for the video and a studio album version for the audio,
so it may seem durable by having an entry like this!
Eitherway, Charlee's music is described as electro-pop, and her song "Good To Be Bad" has actually participated in the
Austrian national selection for the 2011-edition of Eurovision Song Contest
held in Düsseldorf, but it didn't won and ended in an 8th place
If you want to see Entry no. 1 win the edition, place the song among the higher points in your vote!
ENTRY NO. 2
◘◘◘ ◘◘◘
Barnes & Heatcliff feat. Chris Madin - "Neon Light"
This artist has been suggested by the Swiss Head of Broadcaster (Christian AT).
The song has been chosen differently by the Head of Broadcaster himself!
The artist had invited a British musician to be the vocal presenter of the entry. His name is Chris Madin.
Typical genre is house and trance, and they want to bring up one of the many ways of what Austria can serve for being a musical industry worth listening for a ton!
Despite not being so popular in the charts, they want to promote it from here and then they'll find out if its what the voters want!
If you want to see Entry no. 2 win the edition, place the song among the higher points in your vote!
ENTRY NO. 3
◘◘◘ ◘◘◘
Eric Papilaya - "Ready To Move"
Now we're moving onto this next artist, whose fame has been brought from representing the country
in the Eurovision Song Contest back in 2007, when it was held in Helsinki, Finland!
The rock musician didn't made it so well with the song "Get a Life - Get Alive", as it ended 27th in the Semi-Final with only 4 points.
His next song "Ready to Move" is about to witness if it will fail or it will nail.
If you want to see Entry no. 3 win the edition, place the song among the higher points in your vote!
ENTRY NO. 4
◘◘◘ ◘◘◘
Christina Stürmer - "Wir Leben Den Moment"
This musician brought out one of the country's best results yet as it finished 17th place with 80 points in the Final.
Not too shabby after its best results was coming from the debut entry of Falco Luneau's "Rise Above The Night" as it tipped in the 13th place with 89 points.
Now our Austrian rock babe will do a return and come up with her next entry called "Wir Leben den Moment" (transl. We live the moment).
She has felt confident by making the country proud of a final qualification, and she wants to live the moment onto this once again with her next song.
Now it's only depending on the voters if she is the righteous one to represent Austria for NVSC #6 in Lebanon!
If you want to see Entry no. 4 win the edition, place the song among the higher points in your vote!
ENTRY NO. 5
◘◘◘ ◘◘◘
Russkaja - "Energia"
This artist has been suggested by the Swedish Head of Broadcaster (Jan).
This has also been highly desired by the HoD himself, as this artist brings the country a very different
and energic tune to the contest! Making the sound don't feel generic and mainstream!
Russkaja is the name of this n Russian folk-influenced ska/punk band, and they have signed to the record label
of Metal/Hard Rock, Napalm Records, where they can promote their music on its best effect, though they have little or no charting singles yet to
chart the big tops, and they've then confirmed that they'll enter Musical Clash of Austria 2.6 with their most popular song "Energia"!
If they manage to win upon having a high differency than the other entrant's songs have, they'll then be shooting for the stars and
try to find out if an Austrian victory means a path through the art of Russian ska.
If you want to see Entry no. 5 win the edition, place the song among the higher points in your vote!
ENTRY NO. 6
◘◘◘ ◘◘◘
Hannah - "Zoags Mir"
This artist has been suggested by the Swiss Head of Broadcaster (Christian AT).
Last but not least, we have a female pop/schlager singer, whose recent charts with her songs have reached #1 in the Austrian Airplay charts.
She's born in the state of Tyrol. Her music career began in 2011, when she signed in for the record label, Ariola and Sony Music.
The debut album "Weiber es isch Zeit!" (transl. "Women, it's time!") is currently on the sales right now! But what comes to tours and such, Hannah
will find plans for that, but she'll definitely take the advantage and see if her song "Zoags Mir" will do her great of being the
possible representer for Austria for NVSC #6 in Lebanon!
If you want to see Entry no. 6 win the edition, place the song among the higher points in your vote!
The voting will be very simple.
You must listen to the songs fully and properly, untill you can finally give vote by the points:
Do it just by that and then send it by Forum PM!
