The 3rd edition of Ukraine's popular NVSC national selection, Pivnichbachennya Natsionalnyi Vidbir (PNV), was cancelled due to the unstable situation of the country. An internal selection will be held instead by the board.
Ukraine's official entry will be revealed on the 27th of June 2014.

NVSCUAInsider asked some of Ukraine's previous NVSC participants if there is a possibility for them to make a return. Here are their answers:
Two-time participant and NVSC 10 winner, Ani Lorak has this to say:
NVSC 6 3rd placer Olya Polyakova tweeted, "You haven't seen the last of the Great Olya Polyakova! Oy! Oy! Oy! #NVSC"
Lastly, our current contender Max Barskih jokingly told us that he doesn't care about returning because he just wants to dance.
 Ukraine has been full of surprises in the past editions and it will continue to surprise the NVSC world in the editions to come. Who knows? Maybe one or two or even all former participants will return to the NVSC stage, only time has the answer. |

NTU has revealed a teaser photo of all its acts for NVSC 14
Today, NTU has revealed its acts for NVSC 14 through a mosaic teaser. Aside from the usual Ukrainian, Russian and English language, NTU is also happy to announce that there will be a Crimean Tatar singer who will be singing in the Crimean Tatar language. According to Ukrainian HoD, Liev Artovsky, PNV 06 is the most diverse edition of Ukraine's national selection so far consisting of songs in the Ukrainian, Russian, English and Crimean Tatar languages, acts of groups, male duos, female duos and soloists and genres from pop to R&B to rock to dance to soul. Twenty (20) acts will be competing to represent  Ukraine in the North Vision Song Contest 14 that will be shown on April 11, 2015. |

 NTU has revealed a teaser photo of all its acts for NVSC 16
 KIEV - A day before Ukraine's national selection starts, NTU revealed its lineup of acts for NVSC 16 through a mosaic teaser once again. Only 10 acts, instead of the usual 20, will battle out to fly the Ukrainian flag in the North Vision stage in Jerusalem this October.
The 7th edition of Pivnichbachennya Natsionalnyi Vidbir (PNV) will be shown to the North Vision audience tomorrow (September 4, 2015) at 11:30 CET.
