here's the photo I got
and here I present you the  Russian entry for the 30th edition of WWWSC:
Valery Meladze (Валерий Меладзе) - Vopreki (Вопреки)
here I explain you why I chose this song:
Obviously, the picture shows the explosion of an atom bomb. I connect that with hopelessness, desperation and frustration. The music video shows the situation after that bomb, when everything is over, when nothing is left anymore, and when nobody is alive anymore. Also the mood of the song describes the feeling after an atom explosion: sad, depressed, devastated.
For those who don't understand Russian language, here are the lyrics of the chorus:
Everyday I was searching for your delusive footstep
There isn't love anymore, so (you must) run
Contrary to it I'm here, I'm with you until light will turning off
And your step will calm down...

Ok, time for some information As you probably remember, the submission deadline is tomorrow! (22nd of May) However, we still miss a few entries! Those are:  Israel  Czech Republic  China ( Gloria)  Montenegro  Netherlands  Turkey ( Emre) We'll see whether we will have received them by tomorrow, if not, maybe the deadline will be extended for 1 or 2 days. Mimis and I will discuss about it tomorrow evening, but hopefully it won't be necessary  |
