Here I am. After watching one chapter of my fav serie where a trans woman was accepted by society. Then I started to watch YT videos of trans women transition. And now I'm asking my friend if we can meet to paint the nails. And I'm scared af I paint my nails black sometimes but I'm not trans lol |

I never made an "official" post here. I identify as bisexual homoromantic. Bisexuality is not a 50/50 split to me, as I am more attracted to men but I do feel attraction to both sexes. I wrote "Bi" a lot on my present you's but I never posted here officially  As for my romantic orientation, I identify as homoromantic. I used to identify as biromantic, but after thinking about it, I feel like I fall in love with only men, yet at the same time I wouldn't mind sex with either  I love how open this forum is and how inclusive it is when it comes to this topic. It's never easy and complex to understand, but I'm happy to know that this place is accepting and open, and this is the way it should be. At least with this community, you shouldn't feel afraid to "come out" because you will be accepted. And here we are able to express ourselves and most importantly be proud of ourselves. In general (I know this is always said ha but i'll say it again x) you should be proud of who you are, don't let some assholes in this world ruin it for you. After all, I don't see what difference it makes if you're not straight, you're still a person anyway. |

Ok, so basically my Sexuality is Bi-Sexual, and its basically what Dylan said on his a few days ago. But I like to know someone and have a strong connection with them. 
I've always struggled finding out who I was, I have feelings to both genders, But being ridiculed in school about me sometimes "acting gay" does not help at all. But they were just the school bullies that I just have to get over.
This is probably the first time I've said this outloud. Feel happier saying it now haha.
But what Dylan said is so right, be proud of yourself and embarce yourself, and don't let Assholes bring you down like I've have been through.

So yeah, this. I've been hoping to write this post for the past few months, but there is no better time than right now.  Most of the people on the forums surely are of the aware of my conflicting sexual and romantic expressions over the past few years, and most remember my fights and brash defences of pansexuality, the label I really committed to myself in virtual spaces as well as real life coming outs, which were not as comfortable as one might think. Even though personally I was aware what the label meant and how it goes, the reactions were a mixture of curiosity but more importantly, disbelief. And as there had always been a slight belief on everyone's minds that I was leaning slightly more into one direction, it too felt for me like a back-up word to escape the embarrassment of a label that stuck with me negatively ever since I was a child. Today I want to state that I feel homoromantic and pretty much feel very monogamous about that label as well. Love though isn't a given emotion to feel for me and the rarity of it over the years did cause me to think that I could be aromantic or demiromantic at the very least, however that is just the surface. I'm quite possibly very deeply on the romantic spectrum as a matter of fact, with the "ace" element of it simply being an hypersensitive anxious reaction. Sexuality though is a very difficult topic for me to address, as it kinda comes or fades hand-in-hand with romantic response. In that regard I see myself being rather fluid still, albeit not fixated on my old label pansexual, and I personally go under simply the queer term upon further addressing. Even though my libido fluctuates it for sure isn't as high as my romantic orientation. On the plus side, I really disregarded the word gay before, however found comfort today in saying "I'm gay" out loud. Only time will tell if that lasts, but it felt very good for the moment, even though I prefer homoromantic muuuch more to describe myself.
small update (10/12/2018)I'm basically fine with the label "gay" at this point and honestly, i am faggy and proud ♡, although I'm both restrained in sexual feelings (demisexual - i will never abide to any hookup culture, quality over quantity) and pretty open gender-wise; my homosexual tendencies go beyond the binary, and also considering transgender individuals (for example, female to male), this is where things tend to get blurry. But for the sake of simplicity: homoromantic demisexual, with the label gay  |

Broadly speaking historians of sexuality fall into two camps:
1. Constructionist
Broadly speaking they see the socio-sexual categories (gay, straight etc.) as socially constructed and question whether it's universal for people to identify themselves the gender they're attracted to in relation to their own sex/gender. They might look at the variety of ways it was expressed in history to support this. For example ancient Greece is noted as having a dominate and passive distinction rather than a heterosexual homosexual one. A person who took the dominant role was the person who had power in society (rich, Greek men), and whoever was submissive were those who didn't have power (ie women, younger boys, slaves, non-Greeks). They can also look to historical contexts such as India in which identity through sexuality can't really be found before the colonial period.
Philosophers such as Michael Foucault might argue that this is a feature of modern European society whereby sex became something to be interrogated; as it moved outside the bedroom and became public, a side effect of this was that it made people identify with their sexuality
2. Essentialist
This historians argue that we see these identities throughout history, and they represent something that naturally arrives out of human societies independently. They might look to Plato's work where he describes a number of sexual identities, or to other contexts such as the Kothi in India (a group who normally identify as men, but will have female names and pronouns whilst electing to take the submissive role in sex with men). We can of course question whether Kothi represents a sexual identity or a gender one, or whether this division even maps onto them well at all.

lol. It's harder to find who we are nowadays to be honest. But last year I finally managed to discover a perfect name and meaning for what I really am. I guess it was something called "Pansexual"?
To better say: for me, sexes and genres doesn't actually matter, if you know what I mean.
