The official Turkish Eurovision site just reported that the HoD is cooperating together with the EBU in order to come to a conclusion about Turkeys participation at the next Eurovision Song Contest. The HoD of TRT wants to participate, according to the site. I still don't understand on which point TRT and the EBU don't come to a conclusion

Why do I get the feeling Albania might withdraw....? They can't they're like my fav country (cry) There was a lot of backlash at Eurovision after Elhaida didn't do as well as Albania thought she would and they've had a pretty bad track record since Rona, maybe they're taking a break? Doubt it though.

Festivali i Kenges has been running for 53 years, just because they didn't compete in Eurovision for one year it doesn't mean that they're going to cancel it They had some conflicts of interest with Kenga Magjike last year though so that's probably why they shifted up the submission period. We'll just have to wait and see

Possibilities of ESC 2016: Slovakia making a return.Slovakia has been awfully silent these past months, and hasn't said anything about a withdraw either.A return to ESC 2016 could be a possibility. Dotan representing Netherlands.Dotan has been highly rumoured to be representing The Netherlands, even in 2015. Shownieuws.nl has now reported that AVROTROS has selected Dotan to be their representive, but a official confirmation is yet to come. It was around this time that the previous representive, Trijntje Oosterhuis was rumoured to be the representive.

Same with Ilse Delange and Anouk in previous years

AVROTROS have really been early birds the last few years. Since 2012 they've released artist information no later than late November. The media have been pretty accurate since, so Dotan seems like a good bid for them (if this goes to be true). If the pattern continues I expect an announcement in the next two months (but I'm usually wrong).
I hope Montenegro don't withdraw. I've loved everything they've done since Igranka and they've really been showing what they're made of.
