I was sad to hear  Romania getting DSQ yesterday.. but especially for Ovidiu as he was about to sing in  Sweden in over 2 weeks time. And he seemed like a very nice participant too, I liked his song! Then again it's not his fault.. I mean if the broadcaster is so in debt, why participate? I mean yes they could have DSQ TVR in January or idk, earlier than April. But then again if it was that serious..I'm just disappointed in the Romanian broadcaster. I hope to see them back in 2017 ofc. |

It has literally nothing to do with the song. It's more about Ovidiu as a singer, Romania and their future in the contest... |

Seriously why has the EBU to do this 3 weeks before the contest? -.- They could have banned them for the next year(s) or so, but now, when the entry was selected is so stupid. Couldnt they at least finally ban Sweden? |

This may be fair for that broadcaster which doesn't pay. But, come on, this is not fair play for a person who has wasted, yes, wasted, a 15% of his life for the contest.

I don't feel sorry for TVR, as they had enough chances to pay that, but for Ovidiu as he has nothing to do with that and that's simply unfair.

Well to be honest I think his reaction is just bad. I know he is angry and stuff, but he can't blame the EBU and the Eurovision Song Contest. He should blame TVR since they did everything (National Selection and stuff) knowing, that they have high debts to the EBU. Also things like "They should have banned them next year or earlier" - NO. This decision was the only right one. Since the EBU already said many times, that TVR has to pay the debts finally or they have to do something against them, but TVR simply ignored it. So I don't feel sorry for anyone besides Ovidiu, even I don't liked his song. But to put his anger against the EBU is not the right way. |
