Also, the HOD stated that this may be his final edition as HOD however, nothing is official. |

TNV confirms its participation at the forthcoming NorthVision Song Contest!
The general director of TNV said yesterday in a press conference to a question of a journalist if Turkey will participate at the forthcoming NorthVision Song Contest: "Of course we will participate at this magnificent event. NorthVision is the best platform to show our Turkish music and culture. We signed the contracts and sent them to the NBU. Turkish Popstar will once again be the mechanism to determine the Turkish entry." |

  NTU (Pershyi Natsionalnyi) confirms Ukraine's participation in NVSC #18. The 9th edition of Pivnichbachennya Natsionalnyi Vidbir (PNV 9) shall be held to determine the country's contender(s) once again. Stay tuned for more details. |

 ~  Greece confrims to North Vision Song Contest #18! ~ Athens,GreeceAfter lots of days, Greece officialy confirms to North Vision Song Contest #18.Like every edition,NorthSong will be held,making the ninth edition of it.  Denmark confirms participation – back to internal?Copenhagen, Denmark ― The Danish Head of Delegation has confirmed the country's participation in the upcoming eighteenth edition of the North Vision Song Contest. However, it was reported that the 13th edition of the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix might not be held for this edition and the country might be forced to select their entry internally.
"As reported in the past, we have no reason to withdraw from the contest. However, it is unsure whether the 13th edition of the Danish selection will be held. DR has said that they'd rather spend money to something else for now after having spent a big part of the budget on the 12 editions of the selection."
A final decision regarding the selection process of the country's entry in the eighteenth edition is expected to be taken the following week, possibly after the results of the second semi-final. |

  Lebanon to withdraw from the 18th edition.Zürich, Switzerland - The Lebanese delegation Selah Rahat has confirmed during a interview with another Lebanese broadcaster, saying that Lebanon will withdraw from the North Vision Song Contest 18. Saying that "We have spent a lot of money these past 13 editions on the song contest", even though the contest is the most watched show in Lebanon the Head of Delegation has stated "We could've use our money on something else like a mini Arabic contest or a new singing competition for Lebanon."
This will be the first time ever since the Lebanese debut in #5, that Lebanon will withdraw from the contest without it being forced to withdraw in the PQR.
