What if a band comes originally from another country but moved to  Austria because many family members live there and they are active in both countries. Could they represent Austria through a NS or are they considered as foreign act ?  |

Could they represent Austria through a NS or are they considered as foreign act ? I'd say that applies to the 50/50 rule: it has to be in a NS, but it can be selected with whatever number of other entries (it can be a NS with 2 entries). |

  TVR confirms that Romania will participate in the upcoming eighteenth edition of North Vision Song Contest! They are very happy about the feedback on Andra's song and hopes to continue the success in forthcoming editions. The next Romanian entry will be selected via a national selection. More details soon!  SURPRISE EARLY CONFIRMATION -  CROATIA WILL BE IN NORTH VISION SONG CONTEST #18!
It was just confirmed by HRT, the Croatian broadcaster, that Croatia will participate in North Vision Song Contest #18 to be held in 2016. The broadcaster stated that despite the low betting odd and possibility of PQR for #18, the country will participate regardless due to large interest from the viewers.
A statement was released by the HoD today stating: "Our board for NVSC has finalized our budget for #18. In fairness it was a huge cut down from #17's budget due to financial difficulties. But the best thing is that Croatia will be seen in #18, even if our odd looks bad. It's become very popular, especially within the Croatian youth, where over 60% of the viewers are coming from."
Sadly, HRT had to announce that Sounds of Croatia #7 will not be held for #18. The reason is financial difficulties, which hinders a national selection. No sponsor was found.
But that does mean an internal selection for #18. HRT has not given any hints to who the act will be but the possibilities are female solo, male solo, or duo.

I seriously thought you were Jan Lol me too .. It's not that hard to notice where is Jan and where is Domantas. Jan is writen with Blue, Domantas with the same color as other users. |

Bosnia and Herzegovina confirms participation!
BHRT, the national broadcaster confirmed that Bosnia and Herzegovina will be participating in Northvision 18. 10th edition of BH Vision will take a place, but with some changes this time. More information to be revealed soon!  |
