 Spain's participation under question On 16th of March, the Spanish Head of Delegation "Cristian Gonzales" stated that Spain's participation for the 19th edition is under question. The main reason is budget cuts due to TVE's economical crisis. However, nothing is cleared out, and TVE is in talk with potential sponsors in order to be able to participate in North Vision Song Contest #19. |

 The Russian broadcaster will not take a decision before the end of the semi-finals. The HoD is currently talking with the team of the Russian broadcaster about the next edition and which artist to send or if they will host a selection or not. |

 Hungarian broadcaster decided that there are 3 songs by the same artist that will be up for a public poll voting to choose the best out of the three to represent the country. We only reveal the artist today, but no more information on the songs as of now. Hint: if you know me and follow me on Instagram or are my friend on facebook, you will know the answer, so.. I have seen this artist live and have autograph from this artist  Dér Heni |

 Poland confirms it's participation in NVSC #19 !
First of all we wanted to choose our act internally but after long talks we decided to host again Polish Top Of The Top #9 ! The format will go back to previous one from PTT#6, which means 10 acts and NVSC style voting. Currently there are talks with artists who would like to compete. Stay tune for more information later !  |

 PARTICIPATION + ARTIST CONFIRMED!
Even though  Egypt failed to qualify to the final earlier this evening, ERTU decided to not give up and confirmed the Egyptian participation in the 19th edition of North Vision Song Contest. They also announced that Sylvia Yacoub will represent the country. Sylvia Yacoub moved at young age to the  USA. She participated in 3rd edition of The Voice, where she reached the top 10. After her participation she worked on her EP ''Vertigo'' which was released last year. Sylvia has said she's really excited to represent Egypt and that she can't wait to announce her entry.

National Selection for Albania, with a little change! After qualifying to the grand finals this saturday evening, RTSH were celebrating their return to the finals.After all that, RTSH has announced that they are now safe to announce that they will continue with their national selection.This time, they've decided to give the selection a little name change, removing the "Shqiptare" from the title,only forming "Konkurrenca Këngë" now.A logo has already been revealed. [Definitely not a copy of NVSC 18's logo]RTSH will keep the same format as before; Eight artists, eight songs, and only one winner.More information will be given out soon, as well as a thread! |
