I love posting this meme every year  Also I just want to comment on how classy the FiK stage looks. K my thoughts (and ranking) on each song: Yll Limani - Wow there's actually a decent song from a male once  A great song, I get talent-show-winner's-single vibes from this  Flaka Krelani - Song is a bit all over the place but I love the opening. Xhejni Lito - Lovely song; it's very pleasant and it's probably something I would listen to. However I hope it doesn't win because it's not very memorable. Franc Koruni - A perfect example of a song that probably sounds better with an orchestra. All of Franc's songs are boring so this was a surprise but it still isn't amazing. Edea Demaliaj - She has a really squeaky voice when she really hits the notes but the song itself is a really nice ballad. I can see this doing well. Festina Mejzini - Very mysterious and Festina has a pretty good voice. The only bad thing is that I feel like it doesn't really go anywhere. Xhesika Polo - Underwhelmed because I expected a lot from her, but I feel as if the song was perhaps too big for her even though she has a great voice. Neki Emra - Charming song with a mysterious vibe but it goes nowhere. LYNX - For a rock song it's not that bad but it's not suited to my taste. Erlind Zeraliu - A tad too shouty and boring. Genc Salihu - No. Orges Toce - Ugh NO. |

Honestly.
Am I the only one that does not like "Shiu"?
I can't see anything good in it, it sounds pretty meh for me.
Everyone keeps loving it I seriously don't get it help me out here.
Eitherways, I am happy for Edea, Xhesika, Lynx, Rezarta and Dilan for qualifying.
I myself will be rooting for Edea and Dilan tomorrow, and Xhesika, Lynx and Rezarta will be my reserves, in case my two favorites doesn't win.

I'll be hoping for a Dilan, Flaka, Lindita or Yll victory, but considering in Albania the name is as important as the song I expect Lindita to win by a clear margin. Then again I am expecting some bizarre scores and an abysmal entry like Xuxi, Genc Salihu or Orges Toce to go Top 5, considering Albania loves to give high placings to horrific entries (Te Ndjej & Keshtjella in 2014 and Flake & Ato qe s'ti them dot in 2015). Sadly there's a very high possibility the entry will be in English again, Lindita's career is based in America, Flaka's newest album was mainly in English and Dilan said last year he wanted to sing in English at ESC. So don't get your hopes up |
