 STVR confirm that Shinkoyu will participate in the next edition of the contest.
Rumours are suggesting that an artist from the Huoyu speaking part of the country - the North - will be the selected artist to represent the nation. However, no such details can be confirmed.
 "It was with great shame today that One saw the singer Sarah not qualify further in my nations first time in the contest. However, from the lessons I have learned throughout ones life, I shall ensure that my nation pushes forward and we simply will try again. Giving up and surrendering as if we didn't achieve - is worthless.

  Aquia confirms participation!
Today, February 12th of 2017 it's been decided the method of selection that Aquia will use for the next edition.
 Rising Star Aquia will consist of 20 songs. 4 semi-finals of 5 songs each will be made. Live shows will be made in which people can vote either yes or no while the song is played. When the song ends, the voting will be closed and the percentage of "yes" will determine the 2 qualifiers each semi-final will have. There will also be a second chance between the semi-finals and the final, where the third places of each semi-finals will compete for two places at the final. The artists have already been reported to the Fantasia Council, as they can't be published before the show starts.

 Pacifica confirmsThree failed attempts but hopes remains high,  PTV has confirmed the country's participation in the next edition.
The HoD stated that a national selection once again will be held but further details will be revealed soon.

However, since the fourth edition of the contest, the broadcaster plans to goes
Internal rather than National Selection for the 7th edition, but more is expected to be announced
in the end of March/April. |

announce the obvious continuation of participating in the global event. The popularity of the
contest is at an all-time high, having almost won the fourth edition and finishing as the best
automatic qualifier in the fifth.

Stocking up the potential of the country, the second national
selection of the United Republic of Frootania will be named
to determine an entry by some of the most favourite artists in the country
according to local chart placements and public opinion of their songs.
The overall system of the selection is planned to stay

The entries have been confirmed by the council and will be presented shortly.

 The People's Republic of Meili, aka Ameila (la la), will be present at the seventh edition of the Fantasia Contest! Mei-Li TV can confirm that the entry of Amelia will be in the Meilinese language, having been one of the few nations to have sent a non-Engju entry in the previous edition.

Atlandia to be present! Atlandian Radio Television (ART) has held a press conference today, in which they have confirmed presence of
the Commonwealth in the next edition of Fantasia Contest. The broadcaster's spokesperson has revealed that
they are very pleased to be back in the final, after missing it out in the fifth edition. It was emphasized that
Atlandia is still one of the best countries at the competition in terms of qualification rates.
However, it was not yet decided and revealed what type of selection the broadcaster is going to opt in order
to select the next entry and entrant. ART FESTIVAL has been showing some positive results since its debut,
however the sources say the broadcaster is still in talks with several artists regarding possible
internal selection.

 DÝRIA CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION!
After a surprising qualification to the grand final last night, DRTV (Raðió Téléfisið Dýria) has announced that, without a doubt, Dýria will continue participating in the contest - thus being the 7th Dýrian entry on stage.
Although DRTV had plans for a national selection, it was scrapped for the 7th edition - instead it will most likely take place for the 8th edition. So as usual, Dýria has gone through an internal selection.
The act was already selected. The lucky act was announced by DRTV this afternoon.

GARNiDELiA!
Garnidelia (stylized as GARNiDELiA) is a Dýrian group who produces music mainly in the  Jaranese language, consisting of vocalist Mai Mizuhashi and Yoshinori Abe. Both singers have Jarean descent, with the later one originally coming from Solyo.
Upon being selected, Mai gave a statement:
"We as a group are very excited to represent Dýria in this contest. I feel that regardless of the language being used, we can do our best in the contest. It is strange to see a minority language represent Dýria, but the broadcaster accepted all languages!"
It is unknown how their song will be chosen - however depending on the result a poll could be made. DRTV will not release any news about the song until at least before the results.
