 KATSYRIA CONFIRMS! Despite failing in the semi-final for the third time in a row, QTV announced country's presence at the upcoming Fantasia Contest.
A national selection which is going to start soon will take place in order to select the next entry.

Starting point for the grand final for the 6th edition has began faster than we anticipated initially, however despire the rush that Fantasia Contest is returning after a very slow stage in the 5th edition (we're sorry for that inconvenience, again), the Alkyrian Republic confirmed yet once again their presence in the contest due to a press conference the new head of delegation held for the Hellex Group Production (HGP).
Starting her very first year since the last head of delegation decided to withdraw from the leader position in the broadcaster's council due to health concerns, the broadcaster will have from #7 as leader of the broadcaster & the one which will personally carry the Fantasia Contest's selection schedule in the Alkyrian borderline will be Yvonne Zackhari. HGP's new format has shrunken down to 5 members as well, each of them having a stable position in who does what around.
Yvonne and the members which are making the major preparations for the upcoming edition have already chosen an artist, meaning that we'll see someone once again on the stage while didn't had time to shine in the previous edition.
Polyna is officially representing Alkyria! ....again 
Aberyon-native artist which was originally planned to go in the official edition in the current edition claimed previously the tight schedule she had and the album on the make gave her no time to join the Fantasia Contest #6 as the broadcaster intended, she instead surprised once again by giving the spot to Veridia, being the 2nd time the broadcaster changes their artist following #3.
Despite this, Polyna was determined to stand up for her dream as a long-time follower of the contest, eventually her determination caused her in the end to represent Alkyria in #7, promising, this time, that she won't retreat again like she did in #6.
"I'm glad that the broadcaster understood what happened in the last moment about the situation I've been in, even if I really wanted to represent my native country in the current edition we're in. Unfortunately, that wasn't meant to be, therefore I managed to contact Deena (Veridia's lead singer) via Kelda (Alkyria's version of Skype, idk) in order to ask them to be my replacers for the edition. I've been knowing them for quite a while since we've started our musical careers at once, and I knew I could trust the members, and that was mainly it, they agreed without a single hesitation and wished me good luck with the album. I just said that I'll support them this edition and that I hope they'll do well. "Still Breathing" managed to catch a lot of fans throughout Fantasia and personally, as a close friend, I was proud of how they evolved. I still am."
Questioned about her potential song in the 7th edition of Fantasia Contest, Polyna gave some interesting answers as well.
"Well, I can't tell you much, it's just that the song will be very mysterious and rather alternative for what Alkyria usually sends. Again, I can't spoil how the video is or what genre the song is fully, I can only mention it represents me as an artist. It will be a song from my upcoming album "Winter Bliss", my very first album to date, and I hope that everything will go well. Once again, I swear on everything that I'm not withdrawing once again. I promised, and I don't dare to do it either for the second time in a row. It's also a big honor to represent the islands and my native, why would I kick this chance again?", replied, laughing a bit.
About the song selection, it's most likely to be internal selection, however the national selection idea isn't fully abolished either. |

  Evergreen confirms! In a press release dated for today, EBC-IAR confirmed that we will once again see  Evergreen in the 7th edition.
"Evergreen's results in the contest have been fantastic thus far, and we have no intent of withdrawing from the most popular televised live programme of Fantasia," was stated in the press statement.
Melody Grand Prix Evergreen will once again return as the national selection process for finding out the Everish entrant in the 7th edition.
This time around though, some changes can be expected from the format. Instead of just 10 songs and a final + gold final, two semi-finals and a final will take place this edition instead. Each of Evergreen's 17 provinces will pick an entrant to perform at the semi-finals, in which 8 provinces will take part and 4 will qualify to the final.
The selection is expected to be held every edition from now on, with the host province moving depending on which province wins the previous edition, in a system similar to the Fantasia Contest itself. As the first edition of this kind will take place in the  Crystalfall C.D., the Crystalfallian artist will automatically be qualified to the grand final, while other provinces will have to fight for their position in the semi-finals.
Some controversy has been surrounding the selection though, as it appears someone has managed to gain access to EBC-IAR's file system and leaked some information in a badly formatted video. EBC-IAR has given no statement on this leak as of yet.

 STVR have decided that Shinkoyu will host a national selection to find our next representing artist for the contest.
The first artist was approved by council members before we sent the remaining number for approval.
