  Aquia confirms participation!
Today, April 24th of 2017, it's been decided the method of selection that Aquia will use for the next edition.
 Aquia MusicFestival will consist of 5 songs by the same artist. A poll will be opened with all of the songs, and every week (I guess), the poll will be opened again without the song which ended up last in the previous poll. If more than one song tied the last place in the results, they will all be eliminated together. The artist has already been reported to the Fantasia Council and will be published right before the selection starts. A video presentation is planned to be made.

ANTV confirms Angosturian participation
PORT GUAYANA - Today in the ANTV HQ's it was confirmed the participation of the country in the 8th edition of the Fantasia Contest
It was revealed that a national selection is highly likely to be held
Angosturian tabloid LaMenta rumoured 2 months ago that a little national final consisting of one artist and three songs was going to be held, and that the internally selected artist was Mariana Vega
ANTV didn't denied or confirmed that this was true

 Regardless of Gia Love's result in 7th edition, Pacifica's participation for next edition will be pushed through. The artist will be selected internally. |

After several discussions, TOE can officially announce our confirmation on the 8th edition of FC!
We can already confirm that a National Selection will occur in order to find the next Ermian entry! |

Evämaa's participation in the next edition of the the contest. The statement also explained that the delegation was receiving a new HoD, Sampo Kukkamäki, in addition to a strong confirmation of the return of Evämaen Laulujuhla. Speaking to the cancellation of the second edition a few months back for FC #6, Kukkamäki said that the timing had been wrong for a lot of interested artists, so Telemaa just decided to forgo it altogether. 
Sirenforest by NELL and "Dream Catcher" in the third semi-final. Telemaa wishes them the best of luck and hopes they can take Evämaa back to the final for the third time ever!
