Congratulations to Austria on a very well deserved victory! Although this edition was a bit weak imo, I'm very satisfied with the results, it's nice to see that Ukraine and Italy (my and ) reached top 3. I'm also glad that Guatemala and Chile made it into top 10. France and Mexico could have been higher ^^ 11th in the semi, that's actually pretty nice as I always expect to get the last place, thanks to everyone who voted, especially to Taiwan for .

THE SUBMISSIONS FOR WWWSC #55 WILL OPEN TOMORROW! Submissions for the WWW Song Contest #55 will open tomorrow, Saturday, 15th of July, at 15:00 CEST.We want to remind you that the faster you submit your entry for next edition, the better for you to secure your spot. The TOP 3 of this Edition, those hosting a NS for WWWSC #55, the admins and of course the 5 countries that have voted in the Rest of the World Jury for this Edition have their spots secured. The first 48 countries to secure their spots will be able to compete in the Semi Finals and the 3 remaining places will be given to the TOP 3 of the Pre-Qualification Round, which will consist of the entries that will have been posted right after the first 48 spots are taken. You will be all tagged once the thread opens.
Just reminding you that confirming is not enough. You have to submit an entry to secure your place! Here is also a diagram, explaining how the submissions process works:

eh, making 3 SFs would be a better option than making PQR for countries that aren't fast enough to confirm first day imo

We already have 3 Semi Finals oh, well, I'd still rather have 4 SFs then rather than this PQR tbh it doesn't matter what system is used - the most important thing is how strong is your song... P.S. If you think 4 SF's would be better, then how are hosts gonna manage if every edition there's a different amount of countries taking part? PQR is better, because it doesn't have a fixed amount of possible participants. And as I already mentioned - if your song is strong enough PQR will not be an obstacle in it's way to the semis...

We already have 3 Semi Finals oh, well, I'd still rather have 4 SFs then rather than this PQR tbh Having 4 semi finals for approximately 54 countries every edition would actually mean that 2 of them would consist of 14 countries and the other 2 would consist of 13. I guess that having 3 semi finals with 16 players is even more fair as it gives equal chances to everyone. Due to the big number of "reserved spots", I understand that it might be quite hard for people to be fast enough so that they don't have to compete in the Pre-Qualification Round. However, we saw Ukraine and Serbia both qualifying from the PQR, winning their semis and even placing 2nd and 4th so I guess that if a song is good enough, the PQR won't kill its chances. Apart from that, it's also very hard for us to control 51 countries and to always chase some people who might be voting at the very last minute or so. I am not saying that 3 more countries will make such a big difference but it's still 3 more voters after whom we'd have to run. Anyway, the rules are like that. From the moment you decide to participate in a contest, that should mean that you accept the rules and the format/structure of the contest as they are.

4 semis is too much tbh. And what if more people than that want to join? 5 semis? I don't think so I prefer the PQR in this regard even if you fail there. You can always make it to the semis next time
