I find it funny when some people complain about the new rules, but then some actually decided to use those rules to their advantage I smell hypocrisyWhatever you're talking about me or not, I do take the advantage but not because I really want to. I prefer participating after having a good result in previous edition instead of going to PQR every edition for not confirming fast enough. I'd agree to go in PQR if it was deserved for example finishing bottom 5 in semi or something like that.

I prefer participating after having a good result in previous edition instead of going to PQR every edition for not confirming fast enough. That's exactly with the RoW voters have their spots secured, so they don't go to the PQR every edition for not confirming fast enough.

As everyone is complaining about the rules, I would like to express my opinion about something that really pisses me off. I can't understand why this edition we've had something like 14 NSs but approximately only the 30% of the hosts tend to vote in the other ones organized. I find this extremely rude, especially towards users like me who organize their NSs not just in order to secure a place in the upcoming edition but as a way to show more about their country's music industry, even genres that won't be so successful in the main contest. That's why I won't vote anymore in the NSs of the users who won't vote back in mine; it's so nerve breaking to spend time listening to all the songs in the other NSs but to not receive back an help. This is why (and I know this is something that will especially damage me) I'm suggesting to eliminate the secured spots for the hosts of NSs!

^ If I may add something to it: Tbh. just this morning I thought about doing that as well (but as Peter is doing that already I thought it could just start an unpleasant trend). About the suggestion: I honestly kibda agree there - and even more as this time there were so many people doing one (which to me at some point started to look like they just want to secure their spot for the edition )
About the topic of the last pages: I don't like the current system either as I hate Pqr's, but just like somebody else already said I will keep participating. I also see the positive sides of our Pqr as it's at least better than just leaving out some people. And it doesn't make the contest turn into a contest with endless participants nor a very limited one as there's basically still a spot for everyone (apart from the restrictions we all know (aka country / countries already taken etc.). What I would find the worst is deciding the Pqr countries by the recent results like almost everywhere else (that's why Laurinda 's post to Maxim is the one I agree the most with). No idea about others, but it would make me quite depressed seeing countries like Luxembourg, Malta, Costa Rica, Guatemala etc. always there (and possibly me too judging from my result in the last two years lol) and Usa, Uk, Sweden etc. never. Not sure if that was needed or made sense (or is just another text consisting of hot air), but I thought I'd just write something about it lol.

The only thing I would think of is increase the amount of participants in the semis from 16/17 to atleast 19/20. That's something where I disagree. We "just had that already" and with the introduction of the 3rd semi the amounts were decreased again, which I'm really happy btw. and the PQR that many people apparently fear now There's no need to do so as the last 2 editions showed. I mean 5/6 Pqr qualifiers went to the final and 2 of them even won their semi.

I was actually surprised with fabbi giving me points when your comment originally had as overrated You actually made me checking that other post. And you understood it exactly 180° the wrong way. I wrote that you're the only qualifier from our semi I liked (and I really enjoyed your entry btw. ) and Canada + Kazakhstan being okay ones.

#latereaction to the results ... Bit unfortunate for India to end last in the semi-final, but oh well hopefully next edition will prove to be better for us Really pleased with Austria as a winner, my fifth favourite in the final, still find it weird Zoë singing in English though, but her best song imo. Decent place for my points Sweden, though to be fair anything with Mahan in it immediately gets high points from me is a decent second place, andmy points Italy coming third is great Only real disappointments were Australia not doing very well and Romania not getting out of the PQR, which would have been my points in final
