DRTV confirms Dýrian participation!
DRTV has confirmed that after returning to the final with VÉRITÉ last night after missing the final in #7, they will, without a doubt, be participating in the 9th edition of the contest. Fans had nothing to worry about, as DRTV already announced when the semi finals started that participation would be very likely anyway.
HoD of Dýria confirmed the news on DRTV today stating that:
Fantasia is a very attractive project and we really enjoy participating in it as such. As of the 8th edition it is the most popular show watched in Dýria and it's clear to us that our fans want to continue participation".
DRTV originally didn't confirm a selection process, however after fans found tweets from Nene Leakes such as this one:
"A new project is coming to DRTV in time for FC #9 and yours truly will manage it - watch out boo!", the broadcaster confirmed that Nene Leakes will manage a new national selection for Dýria in the 9th edition, in cooperation with DRTV and the delegation of Dýria known as Dýrska Söngkeppnin. DRTV has reported that most entries received were in languages other than Engju, so it is very possible that for the first time ever, Dýria will send a song in a native language.

Angostura will participate in the 9th edition of the Fantasia Contest
ANTV has announced that Angostura will participate again in the Fantasia Contest.
Due to the great success of the return of the National Selection "Sounds of Angostura" it'll take place again in order to choose the entrant for the country.
Different from the last edition, this time there will be different artists taking part in the National Selection.

  Aquia confirms participation!
Today, July 24th of 2017, the Aquian national broadcaster AQRTV confirmed through its official website that the country will be present on the next edition of the Fantasia Contest.
"Even though we would have loved to see Inês qualifying, Make Love wasn't prepared to winning the contest, and maybe wasn't prepared to qualify either. The main purpose of the entry was to make people have fun." - Said Alessandro de Azevedo, head of the Aquian delegation at the contest. - "This won't stop us from participating at the contest. This isn't just a contest to win, but to show what each of us can give. We just decided to bring fun last edition".
The broadcaster also confirmed that the country would select its entrant and entry though a national selection.
 Operação Triunfo has been chosen to be the National Selection of the country. This is a whole new and different selection process compared to the ones Aquia has been using before. More information will be revealed soon.

 HARISH ISLANDS CONFIRMHR&TV just confirmed that  Harish Islands will compete
at another edition of Fantasia Contest!
It's also confirmed that another edition of Harishian Song Festival
will be held to choose entry for our small islands.
This time, only 10 songs performed by 10 different artists will compete.
