 Cercasia confirms
San Cercasia, Cercasia - Following a third non-qualification in a row, the Cercasian national television broadcaster CNT1 can now reveal their plans to revamp the national selection process. For the second time in history, the nation will use a national selection to select its entrant.  Cercasia Music Fest is the brand-new national selection format which will be used for Cercasia in the upcoming edition. Whether or not the format will be used regulary is yet to be decided. Further information on the selection is about to be revealed soon as plannings are yet undergoing. However, some big Cercasian names like Delta Goodrem and Alessia Cara have opened up about the possibility of ensuring Cercasia goes back to its successful results.

PASHLANAHUY CONFIRMS
Earlier today,  PQB has officially confirmed that they will be present in the next edition of FC,
despite not qualifying with Gulnaz Battalova in Beklium.
The next entrant will be chosen through an internal selection this time.
Rumours say that possible acts could be Emre, Gulnasam Mamazoitova or even someone non-Pashi. |

 STVR can confirm that Shinkoyu will compete in FC9, despite never qualifying so far. We have internally selected the artist. The artist is from the West of the main island and their native language is Hwayu, one of the bigger spoken languages of the country.
Full support was given by her majesty the Queen earlier today. |

 Scandavia reboots state-owned broadcasterColdhaven — State-owned broadcaster Sútvarp Skandavía (SVSK) was shut down after 56 years of service due to the
governments legal language change. The new, modernised broadcasting service provides Scandavia with 4 new national channels and 2 new local
channels. The four national channels provide their programmes mainly in Allemanju, as for international series in Engju with Allemanju
subtitles. The 2 local channels, called SKRF Súnia and SKRF Tradition provide at least 80% of their programmes in original Scandavian
or at least with Scandavian subtitles.
"Scandavia has decided to stay in the Fantasia Contest, of course, [...] it is an honour for us to participate so successfully in such
an international event. The show will be broadcast on our main channel (SKRF1), finally with a commentator after 8 editions of the
event with subtitles. It is our pleasure to send Mister Heiko Rönstrup [...] to the next event." — Paul Gerbert, new chairman of SKRF

It was also revealed that the broadcaster would be rebooting the previously shown national selection "Vára Song" as "Unser Song";

 DRT CONFIRMS DEMACIAN PARTICIPATION!
Following a successful qualification to the grand final, achieved by our extremely talented   Adna and her emotional song, "Overthinking", dedicated to the refugee crisis that has tackled Centralia after the disasters regarding the region of Valvet, Demacian Radio & Television can confirm that our nation will be present in the next edition of the Fantasia Contest.
The selection method for our next entry has not been confirmed yet.
On a side note, we'd like to wish the best of luck to Adna in  Beklium, and may she achieve a great result for our country!  SFTV CONFIRMS SIRENFOREST'S PARTICIPATION FOR FANTASIA CONTEST 09
After the disappointing results in the previous contest and a lot of heartbroken TBM fans all over fantasia.
Sirenforest is ready to try again.
The broadcaster had to deal with some complications in the discussion leading to this decision.
Due to internal problems, a temporary HoD will take the preparations for the contest over
for an unknown time.
Not only did the broadcaster announce their participation but also a new NS format called...
 16 artists/bands will fight against each other in multiple rounds for that ticket to  FC 09. More information will follow. Stay Tuned! |

HGP CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION
Akureyri, Alkyria.
This evening, the main broadcaster for Alkyria has confirmed its participation in the 9th edition of Fantasia Contest, mainly due to positive response from the audience and generally the interest of artists in the entire nation.
The head of delegation Yvonne Zachkari has mentioned earlier that the artist has been picked already and the song is being chosen by a group of jurors.
In the meanwhile, the rumours spread like wildfire around the Alkyrian fanbase of FC, and even if the artist isn't yet revealed to the audience, they started some speculations based on the tour dates of certain Alkyrian artists.
Many of them hint towards a returning act, some towards a fully foreign act, and others consider that the singer is relatively new in the Alkyrian music industry.
Regardless of the singer's identity, the song is going to be selected via internal selection, as the tradition requires.
Alkyria is currently represented by Contessa in the 8th edition, held in Capitalia, during the grand final of the edition, with the song "Running".
In the meanwhile, HGP wishes Contessa and the other participants in the contest best of luck in the Grand Final of Fantasia Contest #8 and hopefully the upcoming edition will be just as promising as the others. |

FBN has confirmed today through a tweet today that Florea will once again participate in #09, following "unprecedented success in qualifying thus far". It is understood that another internal selection is likely.
