I'm so happy it's official now!
Countries I'd like to see other than the obvious: - Philippines - Of course I want to see my home country compete, but I'm not sure if their member channel is invested in it yet. Also, I'm skeptical of their chances because they have amazing singers with not-so-amazing songs. What I mean by that is their style only caters to Filipino audiences. Then again, there's a HUUUGGEE Filipino diaspora in the Asia-Pacific region who would certainly vote for us. Philippines is the Poland of Asia. - Lebanon - Since Israel, a country they can't broadcast content from, is a regular in ESC, Lebanon could have a shot in the Asian spin-off. We could get unique Middle Eastern music. - Kazakhstan - With the opening of an Asian spin-off, Kazakhstan may be more likely inclined to join this instead of ESC, but they've got an established presence in Turkvision, so I'm not sure if they would want to join. - Turkmenistan - I thank Gilberto for allowing me to be interested in this relatively obscure country. - Indonesia - I'm actually really impressed with their music scene. They've got a diverse variety that I wasn't even aware of. - Mongolia - Same as Indonesia, but with a Mongolian twist. - North Korea - They will most likely never join, but it would be hilarious if they did. Also, would Turkey join since their relationship with ESC is estranged? Addendum: Russia could join, too if they're fed up with ESC. A third of their land is in Asia anyway.

Prolly not from my country too... Indonesian people is currently having an, uh, anti-Chinese sentiment. Why? Because China's like they can have everything in their region?

The same way Malta has been finding artists to represent them at Eurovision for 29 editions incuding national selections.

Solomon Islands have appeared in online contests before, so it's not like they have nobody there as a singer (unlike San Marino which relies on one).
